Did two games there off that little porch off the little press box.

I have seen a few over the last few years. First 6 man broadcast I ever did was out of the bed of a pick up truck at Orange Community Christian.

Did not. Thought Lufkin was going to host again.

But it's nowhere near the initial cost of the first time turf.

But you choose to use Tarkington in those cases and not another school. That's the point Prairie is making. Again, it seems you have some animosity towards Tarkington. Maybe broaden your horizons when trashing a school, town.

You do use them as an example all the time. I tend to agree with Prairie on this one. It's obvious you have some hangup with Tarkington.

Living down here now I have gotten used to those things. High Island mostly schedules day games when at home. Night games with no wind are unbearable.

Coach Devers has left Coldspring. He is now the head coach at Corrigan-Camden. Not sure who the Trojan's new coach will be.

You know there is a teacher shortage when a school district as small as High Island has over a dozen job openings.

Bush will not be transferring to Lamar. He will be signing with Navarro College.

I would have to say that LB Jayron Williams is the bell cow on defense. Being a senior, he should take the role of defensive leader.

I watched the game as well. Mustangs looked fine defensively but the offense needs work.

Celina won 19-13. Celina moves on. WO-S goes 0-4 in tourney.

Most of that dirt was removed from the field and will be put at different places on school campuses.
