Silsbee may scale back their tourney schedule but it will be because Sigler wants to, not that they don't get invited to those tourneys. Dallas ISD has stated they will always have a place for Silsbee. Same for some other tourneys. Personally, I wouldn't mind Silsbee playing a little more local. But I think Joe will still schedule tourneys outside the immediate area so unless HF goes outside their norm, those two playing may not happen. I will be surprised if Joe schedules HF.

I have said all season long that 22-2A was a beast of a district. Still have three teams in the playoffs and I predict 2 will make regional tourney (guaranteed that one will). They will have a Regional Quarterfinal doubleheader Tuesday night at SFA. District champ Shelbyville will take on Gary at 6pm then San Augustine will face district mate Tenaha at 8pm. If I wasn't broadcasting Silsbee's game Tuesday night this is where I would be.

For clarification purposes and to settle any thought of multiple member accounts by one individual, I personally know Mamba. Have known him for years and speak with him at games regularly. He has posted on this one account since he has been a member. Also, those that think a certain coach has created multiple accounts, well you are wrong. Going off past seasons, it's very rare for Silsbee to schedule other 4A schools in non district. Only ones in the past 5 years were HJ, Center and LaMarque. As for tourneys, Hamshire-Fannett has never been in same tournament as Silsbee. Silsbee doesn't play in local tourneys. I will be surprised if HF is on Silsbee's schedule.

I don't have a problem with HF so that's not debatable. Silsbee could have taken HF lightly after beating them by 20+ at HF. That could have more to do with HF winning than their adjustments.

You were wrong stating I had some problem with HF basketball. You were wrong stating that HF played Silsbee tough the first time in district though Silsbee won by 20+. That makes 3. Care to continue?

Well, so far you have been wrong on 3 accounts in your short time here but by all means keep posting your "expert" opinions.

I hear what you are saying but the fact still stands. It is against UIL policy to transfer for athletic reasons. If kids are recruiting kids, and they move because they want to play with their friends, then that is the basis of transferring for athletic purposes. That is what is being discussed. At least from my end.

I have no problem with HF. Good folk there. I just call out posters who want to make bold comments and act like "they know" over others. You make such profound comments on Hamshire-Fannett one would assume you would know who the middle school coach was or at least know Coach Pace wasn't there. Using words like "will" and "best" can come back to haunt you.

One that seems to have the "pulse" of Hamshire-Fannett basketball (at least based on your comments) should know that Coach Pace is at Lumberton now and not at HF middle school. Perhaps your knowledge is not that great after all. Not enough at least to question anyone else's knowledge of "area" high school hoops. I guess I will have to take your future post on this sport with a grain of salt.
