Washington is legit. They will have a say in Region III Yates just doesn't have the inside game and their guard play is down from years past. Losing to Furr is a bit of a surprise. I expect Washington to sweep Yates in district.

I was told Coach Thompson would be retiring after the holidays and that there are only two being considered for the job.

Match ups mostly. But in some cases, teams play without a star or two due to injuries and don't want to push it with several games played in 2-3 days so they can be ready to go for the important season, district and playoffs. Also some teams have been without players for some school testing. Had that be the case this past weekend.
