WS/Hemphill(otherwise known as The PineCone Bowl!!!!), Week 1

The preseason rankings prove it. District 10 is one of the toughest in the state in 1A Div. 1. Two state ranked teams and a powerful West Sabine squad lurking at the top. Have said this before but it bears repeating: whoever gets out of this district will be tough outs in the playoffs...........

I got to see him run from the sidelines at the West Sabine game, and while I think 4.35 is a little much, I wouldn't doubt a 4.4 or 4.45. You are right rlsmith if yall come up with some defense it will be a good year for you all.

Has anyone heard when DCTF and the FNF Texas(theoldcoach.com) magazines will be released? Especially interested in the FNF because I know a guy who contributed to it this year.

Why aren't there any 1A teams getting any love on here? Everyone had better keep their eyes on District 10-1A Div.1 because it could possibly be one of the toughest districts in the state and definitely the toughest in the Southeast Texas region in my opinion!

Don't forget about the Piney Woods area yall! We got 2 studs here in Sabine County by the names of Desmond Lacey (QB West Sabine, Sr.) and Justin Twine (QB Hemphill, Jr.). I know Twine would be technically 2014 but I had to include him.

West Sabine wins 6-5. Barnett picked up the win for West Sabine while Cartwright took the loss for Broaddus.

Austin Stephens went yard tonight at Colmesneil for West Sabine. 1st of the year. Not sure of his grade think he's a junior.

Any opinions out there on District 10-1A? Alto West Sabine Cushing San Augustine Shelbyville Grapeland Who are the 3 teams from this district? IMO: WS SA Alto

Don't really know much about this district, but district 10-1A will be a meat-grinder with Alto, West Sabine and San Augustine atop it. Probably one of the tougher 1A districts statewide.
