5.

Has WS ever played Alto? Just wondering.
I can't recall WS ever playing Alto....  I do know that the measuring stick for WS will be Alto and SA, however if WS looks past a sneaky Shelbyville team then it could be a looonnng homecoming night for the Tigers.  I know that Alto and SA will be extremely tough for WS but if WS executes and plays mistake free then I believe they have a chance to win district.  Either way this district will be represented very well in the playoffs and you could very well see two of these teams meet up again in the later rounds!
I agree. Can't look past ANYONE in this district, cause when you do you get bit in the well, you know...... I am calling this district the "1A District of Doom". If WS executes they will be hard to beat and the 3 out of this district will be tough outs in the playoffs. Good luck to yall this week at yall's homecoming! Who scheduled both WS's and Hemphill's homecoming on the SAME night? lol
 6.
There was a post about West Sabine and Alto before this one, I think everyone except Shelbyville fans will take W.S. by a couple of scores. Just my opinion though.
I misspoke on the topic. I only meant to show a potential top ten matchup next week. Not overlooking anyone in this 1A "District Of Doom". I am the first to admit it when I put my foot in my mouth, and this time I admit I put it in knee-deep lol............ good luck to yall this week if yall have a game.
 7. I agree, you can't take anyone for granted, especially so in THIS district......... WS will be focused on Shelbyville this week as SA will be on Grapeland and Alto on Cushing.........
BAHAHAHAHAHA  ;D ;D ;D ;D
Have we(Wes Sabine) ever played yall? Think we have a long time ago......
 9.
At this point who cares who wins the WS/Alto game!  Focus on the task at hand which is Shelbyville!  Come on Pinelandflash, of all the sports gurus out there you should know this rule as well as anyone!
I jumped the gun on it, I admit. But no one is overlooking ANYONE BELIEVE me. As another post said, if the Shelbyville team that beat Groveton shows up Friday things could get interesting....... They are focused on the Dragons this week, not the Jackets(though they will be Monday the 15th lol). Sometimes I put my foot in it and this time it went in up to my knees..............
 10.
We'll see.  Alto has gotten better every week, very young team with loads of talent.  Jacolby Whitaker will by far be the best player yall have seen this year along with several others.  Alto D' is very fast overall, got 2 Soph DE's that beasts.
Should be a great game between two great teams. Not overlooking Shelbyville this week though just like yall aren't overlooking Cushing.
 11.
West Sabine takes this one..... BUT, now that I know WS is looking past Shelbyville, I may have to go back and change my pick THIS week..... :D
Not lookin past anyone lol:) No need to change your pick lol
 12.
No, that wasnt what I meant lol. No one is overlooking ANYBODY believe me. Just saw that both teams are ranked and would make a great matchup is all............
Just put another thread up for this week's game to avoid any pretense that anyone is overlooking Shelbyville..............

Same here altojacketfan! should be what they would call in the WWE a "slobberknocker!!!!!" should be  a whale of a game between two great teams........
16.
True, These kids can only play who is in front of them. Think back to last spring, everybody was wondering what The AD was thinking about opening up with the reigning state champs Beaumont Kelly. Before the game this was still being talked about." Look at the size of those kids warming up, what was he thinking". Game starts out.... oh crap, then all of a sudden it was WTH happened to them... You never know. Hemphill, big time rivalry. seen games go from 2-0,7-3,14-7, and a few blowouts over the years. But did give us practice at containing and staying within a defensive game plan. Hornets will always be on our schedule. WH... past district foe that has been some hardnose football games with a few great athletes.. Tenaha.... Here we go....... Then Ol "Bye" - When to throw that one in ?? Burkeville, You never know, We've played them year in and year out, many times just to get out of district and to the playoffs. Hopefully Mustand tradition will return. The day after realignmemt makes all of the scrambling to make schedules tough. You are a hero or a goat. This district will be a battle and be stacked come playoff time...and we will support each other...Cause we believein Deep East Texas 1A football. BucketSItR
You got that right!!!!!!
 17.

West Sabine has definitely been impressive to this point.  This kids can only go out and play the teams that were put in front of them.  So anything about a weak schedule or anything of that sort is a non-point.  The real tests start in 1 week.  And for West Sabine October 19 and October 26th will determine just how good this team really is.  Hopefully all teams are relatively injury free and play some good solid football!
Your right, the kids can only go out and play the teams in front of them. But the schedule yall have for pre-district is very soft! To date Tenaha has been the biggest challenge. You can debate both sides of that as well. Boosted confidence, less injuries, or the other side, over confident, peaking out to early, lack of playing teams that put you in adverse situations. I think our district is probably one of the toughest in 1A. Regardless of what happens in this triad of SA,WS,and Alto, I think we will be very well represented come playoff time. According to Campbell's it is the toughest in the state. I agree the district will be well represented in the playoffs because all 3 will be a tough out for whoever plays them.
19. You got that right. Those two games will go a long way in deciding the district.
 20.
What is the score average for WS ?
60 points per game 498 yards per game
 21. I agree the running QB should be included. I'm hard put to find any other 1A area QB that's having a better season than WS's Lacey in my opinion. If there is let me know and I will humbly concur.......lol passing 23/42/608yds. 8TD 2INT  rushing 53car.573yds. 7TD 1181 total yards (295.3 total yards per game) 15 total TD 4INT on defense as well
