Yep, That is the reason I post on so many topics that have zero bearing on my life.

They're all disgruntled.

Smh. Ye of little faith. Woodville is averaging 39ppg on offense and surrendering 19ppg on defense. The Kountze game's 2nd half surge spoke more positive about the Lions, rather than negative about Woodville. They'll be prepared. That, along with the return of starting LT Cade Bass after the week off to recover, point to a good week for the Eagles. Coldspring will be ready and compete well most of the way. I think Woodville's offense wears the Trojans down by the 4th, where Woodville pulls away. Should be a great game though! I'll be there! Go Eagles!

Trinity, this is two similar offenses. Should be a good game.

You are right these coaches come from winning backgrounds and expect to win so you will understand when I say only 2 or 3 rounds deep in the playoffs will still be considered a failure . It takes a winner to teach someone how to win when they have never been exposed to it. Trust me these guys would love to put some points on the board.

Newton having much better season than West Brook. That's why they should be ranked higher.

A reasonable argument could be made for all 3.

I wouldn't mind seeing Woodville and Newton play. Newton would obviously be the favorite to win, but I think it would be a more competitive game than most people think. 

Woodville owns this district right now. Beyond that, I see CS, Buna, Trinity and Kirbyville slugging it out for the remaining 3 spots. Trinity was counted out, until this past Fri when they dismantled a team that fought to the end in a game with Kirbyville. They deserve to be mentioned as a contender. 
Nobody is as dominant in this district as Woodville is right now, but other than that....spots 2, 3 and 4 are very much open. I see some pretty good games coming up.

I still think Kirbyville beats Trinity. The Kats aren't a bad football team. They're just young, have a brand new system and coaching staff, and lack the size to win this district. They still have the athleticism and fanbase to make the playoffs. Not to say that it will be an easy win against Trinity. But unless the Tigers have improved exponentially since last year, I still see Kirbyville winning a close game with them when they play. 
 
Other than that, they look pretty accurate. Woodville should win the district. CS is solidifying their case for 2nd. Buna is, in my opinion, solid enough to beat the bottom 4 on this list, but lack the athleticism to put up the points to compete with Coldspring, much less Woodville. Warren/Kountze could be a good game if Adams is still out.

Congratulations to Woodville. Well earned win. I was happy to see some life in the Wildcats though. We did a lot better than I expected.
