This site has it as 27-14 for San Augustine. Pretty reliable as it comes from Joe Lee's stats. [Hidden Content]

In case you guys haven't seen it yet, Goblin has team histories of most of the area teams up in the Area Team histories sub thread at the top. Here's the link and many thanks to Goblin for all the hard work! [Hidden Content]

PNG and GCM are in, Ned should clinch a playoff spot if they win vs GCM tonight. Lumberton should be in the drivers seat for the fourth spot if they beat Vidor tonight even though Vidor has 3 games left vs. two for Lumberton.

All standings have been updated according to what I have as of today (4/26).

Hmmm, and Ozen's enrollment keeps going down..... -
I would disagree with you on Basketball AAU being representative.

6 in a row, 17 wins out of the last 23, I would say Ned is making up some ground pretty fast. LOL

The legislature needs to push for all older school buses to be retrofitted with seat belts and fund it (at least partially). They already passed a law requiring all new ones to have them in the wake of the WB bus crash.
-
No argument there, lol. But MCM is not just football but pretty much all other sports as well.
-
You need to make one and you will see what people are talking about. Its not just the game but the week leading up to it. Heck we are on here trash talking each other in April for a game that will take place 6 months from now.
-
Too bad PNG wont get some decent stands, (Oh yeah y'all have to make appear that you have more fans, I forgot.)
-
Have you been to a MCM game?

RGIII Chooses Cleveland
Bigdog replied to Peppermint Patty's topic in Professional Sports- NFL, NBA, MLB, Etc
Probably the only team that would pay him what he wants and he has a chance to actually be a starting QB. -
Ouch.

For how long?

Keep this civil or don't respond at all.

Whatever. Like I said no turf field has won a championship. It comes down to the coaches and players. And as far as facilities go ; money. This area is slowly upgrading but for every one team he listed that has won state I can list multiple that have "top of the line facilities" that hasn't.
-
Do me a favor list all of the turf fields that have caused a team to win a state championship or make the playoffs, I'll wait. Location and the coin flip/or decision by the coaches on location determine playoff locations in the early rounds. If its not a home/home flip then they choose a location that is closer to them or if they cant agree convenient (most of the time ) for both teams. WO-S played Scarbrough at Stallworth (The Butch was being used), Wharton at Channelview (roughly half-way), Bellville and Caldwell at Porter. You also need to realize that the 4A schools are a lot more spread out than the 5A and 6A schools are and are also competing with those schools for locations.
