Holden Lane was pulled up from JV and is a beast. They didn't use him much on JV but when they did he would carry 5 or 6 guys on his back. For whatever reason they refuse to run him much. With the situation now maybe you'll see him more.

Lane was a beast when he played. They would put him in with Green as his lead blocker and they were successful every time.

Not the case, you're taking it out of context. Sorry your feelings were hurt.

My point was helicopter parents. In this case, multiple moms. Just as many dads as moms have said something on this board, and I'm just as irritated with them. The recent examples just so happened to be female. I couldn't care less if you were a male or female.

Well your assumptions were wrong because I wasn't even talking about my own child. My son has never and will never be the QB nor does he want to be. I simply was stating the facts about how things went down at the JV level this year, I was there to see it with my own eyes.

No need to worry about my feelings because honestly I could care less what you think. I'm a mom, I have boys and I watch a lot of football. If you don't want to hear what I have to say you are welcome to skip to the next comment.

I have no agenda and I sure as heck didn't vote for Hillary. And when you post "an influx of moms", you are referring to all the moms, not just the ones with "mom" in their name. Don't try sidestepping now bubba.

Maybe I should change my screen name so he wouldn't have such an issue with me. My point was valid and even he admitted it. His issue isn't with what I know it seems to be with who I am...or what I am.

Wow. Ndn mom never said she was talking about HER kid. Perhaps she's just observant and has opinions about football just like all the rest on here.

I think she makes a valid point. I don't think having a kid that throws 3 interceptions per JV game is the answer for us at backup.

Thank you! My son was not the QB or the kid on the bench that I mentioned so he has no idea what he is talking about. I just happen to like football and have watched those kids play for years so I know a little about them. Funny thing is, I'm sure if I was a man that comment would have been ok. I guess women aren't supposed to know what they are talking about when it comes to football.

Problem with that is Bost is the backup QB and I am not sure who would get the nod next. Who was the JV quarterback?

The JV qb this year is not your answer.  He averaged 3 interceptions a game! There was actually a kid on the bench that should have been on the field.

Have fun celebrating the game. Not making others ill because of your inconsiderate ignorance spraying powder and chemicals in the air. I simply assume we raised moral, caring children in this area.  No wait I assumed we raised football fans, not powder fans.

I don't think any of them did it to be inconsiderate, they did it because they thought it looked cool...and it did. It has been banned so it won't happen anymore. They are kids and they didn't think about it traveling down and affecting others. I raised two caring football fans who also play and they were both involved in the powder throwing. After it happened I explained how it made people sick and they both said they didn't realize it had blown down and caused issues for people. Let's not always think the worst of them and realize sometimes they are just kids.

What are they doing, playing and dancing?  isn't that what all bands and drill teams do, including the Indian Band and the Indianetts?

I wasn't at the game and I don't know if this was the reason for the comment but I was told that there was some frustration because every time our band started playing so did theirs. Unfortunately our band is not loud so they were getting overpowered. Maybe our band director should teach our band to play where they can be heard. I've always been bothered by the fact that we can't hear our band even if the other band isn't playing at the same time.

Indian fans ... complaining just to complain.  The game with Central was not nailed down until late in the 4Q.  28-14 against Central is not a sure thing.  Two big plays and the score is tied.  Once we got to 35-14, it was mid-4Q.  It wasn't a 42-0 game at the half.  When the game is competitive, I like the ball being in the hands of the team's best player.  Not all of the QB runs were designed QB keepers.  Some were; others were not.  Some of the keepers show the growth of #2 as a super soph QB, i.e., he ran the ball because he did not want to force a pass and risk a turnover.

Indian fans could be married to Cindy Crawford or Halle Berry and would complain she can't cook ... or you could get a bucket of gold and complain about the bucket.

If #2 did not run, some fans would be on message boards complaining that Coach Faircloth refused to put the ball in the hands of his best player.  And, from the three games I've seen this season, (GCM, Lee and PAM), several times #2 has created something out of nothing to create positive plays and score points.  I'll take that and being 7-1 with a good shot to win out and roll into the playoffs with momentum.

    Go Indians.  Peace.

Maybe he is the best player on the team but there are other great players that can run the ball. It doesn't need be a one man show to break some records, the kid has two more years to do that if that's the goal. Let's not forget he has a future beyond PNG football that he will need to stay healthy for.

I hope what i seen tonight is not what the future of PN-G football looks like.  The cupboards look pretty bare.  At least you all will probably have the best QB the next 2 years, just don't know how much help he will have.  Enjoy it while it last...

If you are talking about JV unfortunately the best kids aren't always on the field. For some reason those coaches could care less about JV, it's a joke. There is talent there they just don't utilize it because they are trying to let everyone get a certain amount of plays in. It also hurts that we don't have a real QB on that team.

I agree, i stay till the end regardless if we are winning or losing.  I mean anything can happen.  Did you see how my Texans came back and beat the Colts after 3 miserable quarters?  You never know...

I did see that and told my son....that is why you never give up!!!

  11. I see quite a few of our fans leave early no matter what the scoreboard says. We have a large crowd and some people like to beat the traffic jam, some have young kids who get cranky as it gets later and some of our fans are older and they want to get home before it is too late. Just because someone leaves before the game is over doesn't mean they aren't a fan. I personally like to stay till the end but that's me and I won't judge those who don't for whatever reason.
