  1. I think we are all missing the fact that our defense allowed 31 points to be scored on us. We  also had two great passes dropped in the endzone that would have been game changers. This isn’t all about the QB situation. Was Roschon missed? Absolutely. I still think our back up went out and did his job. Let’s also remember that we haven’t exactly planned for the future. Most of our receivers are very inexperienced and the two that have the most experience spent the majority of their time on the bench last year.

WOW!  IMHO, I could see the QB not coming back this year.   For obvious reasons.

Most injured kids wear shorts and a jersey and stand around on the sidelines. Roschon was in full uniform yesterday, was in every huddle, walked the sidelines down the field as the plays were happening and encouraged his team the entire game. He wanted to be on that field more than anything else. I just can’t imagine him choosing not to come back.

Alot of those backs and Wrs should have been out there more often with Roschon in the spring and summer mornings. He was there nearly every day working on something to improve and it shows. Thats the way you do it when you are serious about the game. Thats how you get better. It has to be in you man.  Cant teach work ethic, you have to self motivate and want it

Oh they were out there. Sometimes twice a day.

Didn’t see this coming.... figured the injuns would pull it out.... Forget about the O.... we know that story, the D giving up 31 to Tomball is the shocker....

Honestly I don’t think the problem on offense was the QB. We have to catch the ball and we have to realize when the run game isn’t working! Overall I think Grant Rogers stepped up and did a great job.

We also have to stop with the penalties. It’s terrible!

Also, we must remember that RJ worked with Riggs and Hughes for two years and developed a timing with them.

This is exactly our issue! Most of the receivers on the field this year have never worked with Roschon so they don’t have that chemistry yet. We have 3 or 4 with some speed they just need get comfortable out there.

Let’s also remember that these kids probably went in feeling a little a little defeated and had some extra pressure last night.  Two of our key defensive players made a bad decision and let their whole team down just hours before the game. I know that’s not a good excuse but we are talking about young boys and that stuff gets in their heads.

So instead of getting on here and giving up on our team and telling these kids they aren’t worth the time...I choose to wish them the best and hope they get better each week.
