[b]Maybe you want Ozen to have a coach thats underachieving because you want central to keep winning.[/b] [/quote]    You couldn't be any farther from the truth.  I actually want the best for Ozen.  IMO, Ozen and Central, IMO, should be  running this area in football and basketball.  I hope that it happens one day.  So, in the meanwhile, I'll root my Jags on the best I can, then other Beaumont teams (if you didn't know, that includes Ozen), and 20-4a (in that order).

...and you just couldn't win your district outright, could you?  You had to split with Humble, that Nederland, our third place team, beat with ease.  That same Nederland team who Central beat 3 times, twice by double digits.  Like I said, Central would have crushed Crosby.  Don't kid yourself.  Football?  Sir, did you know this is the basketball forum?

Could it be that Crosby is very good?  They  are district Co-district,t champions, you know.  Could it be that Georgetown is very good?  They took down a talented Central bunch and then took down a good Nederland team (who did beat your panthers may I add).  Georgetown was prepared for a fast pace game vs. Central and a few days later (yesterday), was prepared for a slow down game vs Nederland that ,according to a lot of Nederland fans INCLUDING my Nederland contact, was the best possible matchup for them (they didn't want Central for a 3rd time).  Only time will tell, my fellow Beaumontonian (is that even a word?  Lol).  If Crosby or Georgetown make it to the regional final or the state simi's, then your point WON'T be proven....but at that point, you'll try to say, 'lets see if they can win a state title', right?  8) 8)  So please keep 'your case' restless. 

That Georgetown team, I tell you.  They did both our teams in real good in a 4 day span by holding them to really low scores.  Boy, that sucks.  Great season, nonetheless, Bulldogs.

Congrats on the win, Yates.  Way to get 'em a battle, Silsbee.  I hope you get them next year.
