Congrats to LC-M. Great game plan and you worked it to perfection. I guess with Thomas going down, it took a lot out of the Tigers. I don't know. The defense needs major work. But this should've been a game where the Silsbee offense should've have risen to the occasion, but they didn't. Silsbee need a to win out and grab this momentum going into the playoffs. ...Winters was a manchild. Had to have over 200 yards rushing. Shout out to Silsbee's #22 with the 'pick 6' and the hard hit of the night causing the LC-M fumble.

Whatever. Lol. Well, Central won so I'm glad...

This is the most pathetic excuse of tackling at a football game at ANY level that I've ever seen with my eyes. You don't want to tackle, and when you get there, you DON'T tackle and let him loose. You arm tackle. Now you can't catch recover an inside kick. This is embarrassing... Could this be payback for the basketball fight? Sure in the hell looks like it. Coach needs to get some smelling sauce for the defense and smack then around. They're getting pushed and bullied up and down the field and not ONE time did I see a coach get mad. Second half, at least show that you have some you know what. Ok, let's see it second half.

I too share Stattrax and Grad's sentiments. Originality is lacking in some of our local media. Others are good and take pride and show the excitement of high school football. Heck, it's the reason why I even started posting on these sports message boards about 13 years ago. But there's some editors that, like said above, piggyback off of other media outlets, and when questioned a out the validity of their information, claim that they've done their homework themself. Another story, another day. I just know that I'll continue to crown this site as the best place for local sports and I'll praise the others, except one particular local newspaper.

Well I saw quite a few scouts there. I didn't notice Nederland scouts for any other game. Also, would've make sense to scout a horrible team for multiple and consecutive weeks.

We have to get the W here because IMO, we need a split with MC to make the playoffs. This game is attainable.

Smart... So the Nederland coaches that were there didn't really get much information....
