Awe, I'm truly hurt that you dont think much of my opinion. Here's how much sleep I'm going to lose over your comment. None! If you bothered to take your head out of your ass, you'd realize that I was giving the offense, and the coaches props. I even gave Troy props. They were all much improved over last week. But, I guess because my opinion isn't the same as yours, you're right, and I'm wrong. That's fine. No sweat off my back, Joey. I'll still be here rooting on my Bruins. Instead of trying to make me look like the bad guy, why dont you just agree to disagree with me, and move on. We both cheer for the same team, we just have a different opinion. Either way, the team is winning. #BGOE 

Hes a different kind of QB, a pocket passer.  Different from Elia last year,  but seems to be producing the same results.  And you know how I feel about results.  😎   He has this offense clicking, probably better at this point this year than last year.   So I think they should keep those cinder blocks on his feet if he can continue to put up those great passing numbers...

I agree. Maybe I need to be clear for the cheap seats, and for the retarded Aggie. I give credit where credit is due. Yes, his game has improved. Yes, he is a different type of QB, but effective, nonetheless. Yes, the results speak for themselves, and were putting points on the board, and wins in the column. Kudos to the coaches for being able to tailor the offense to his strengths, and for being able to give defenses some different looks from what they saw last season. But, I'm standing firm on my opinion that is, he is a senior, but I dont believe he is the best QB on the team. Again, it's nothing personal, but it is my opinion. You can like it, or you can say its personal(rolling eyes). Either way, I'm still going to support my team, and I'm going to give them props when they do well, and im going to tell you when I think they messed up. I'm transparent. Dont like it? I dont care. #BGOE

Well, I still think he runs like he's got cinder blocks attached to his feet. However, he got some good protection on some designed runs. Was it effective? Yes. Do I think he's the best QB on the roster that gives WB the best chance to win? No. That being said, the offense moved well, last night, and we shouldn't have a problem putting points on the board. And should something happen to #14 that kept him out, #11 will be able to step in without missing a beat.

Yowman threw for at least 200 yards and 3 TDs and it could have easily been double that. The offense is more balanced than its has been for years. With this kid in at QB the entire field has to be defended by the opposing defense. The early issues with the offense was OC trying to pound the ball into a 8 and 9 man front. 

May be, but he still runs like a fat kid dodging a red ball. With him in the game, the offense is one dimensional, with no run chances. 

Troy was on point from mid 2nd quarter on. 

From what I'm told by two reliable sources,  Belaire is a lot better than last year with real speed and size in the trenches and WB had some defensive assignment breakdowns, which lead to a couple of scoring drives for Belaire.  Also, you were there for a half, but I heard Yowman was on the money in the second half.  Yea, he cant run, but that kid can throw that rock.  Once that young Defense grows up and the DC gets it together, Brook will peak a couple of games into district.  They'll be fine.

Camps and 7 on 7 is not a determiner of greatness. I personally think the kid is over-rated. I am impressed on the hype. Any kid can go to these combine-camps and look good. I'm going to wait to see what his Varsity years look like. 

West Brook won it's only state title with a black head coach. Race has nothing to do with it.

What's messed up is, where they're proposing this housing project being built, is a huge flood area. Itll be interesting to see how that is effected.

As a 93 graduate of West Brook, and a current Lumberton resident, if the city grew enough for the Raiders to get to 6A, it wouldn't do anyone in that district any good. Nobody, especially Lumberton, would benefit from playing against 6A competition, especially in the Houston area. Just my .02

Great article! I really hope BISD does the right thing, and gives this man the appropriate compensation to keep him at West Brook.

I'm glad that at least 1 school has a good head coach.  I hope the BISD POWERS pay him properly so that he stays and they find us a good one...

Well seeing how they were paying three head coaches $87,000 plus a performance stipend. And now they only have two head coaches. There's at least $90,000 in the budget that could be used to up Peevey's salary and hire United a competent coach with a history of winning. Hell they could pay each coach $125,000 and still be paying less than what they were paying three coaches.
