82 5A State Champs

Hammer, havent you noticed some of the other threads that were started in protest of the stadium name? To answer your question, YES, I think they could have (and should have) come up with a much better name for the stadium. Whats wrong with Spindletop Stadium, or even BISD Stadium? I'll get off my soap box now. ;D

Not one of the other polls matters....THIS, is the poll that matters. Actually, kind of suprised to see the Bruins in at #9, but at the same time its kinda nice.

At the city wide Pep Rally being held on the Thursday night before the WB/Ozen game. It will be held at the Butch. I got my season tickets today......

Again, where would you rank them. Is it because they're a 4A school thats ranked behind a couple of 3A schools? Doesn't Nederland play WO-S in a few weeks? Maybe we should re-evaluate their ranking after that game. My guess, Nederlands ranking will go down after that game.

[/quote]I am currently in the middle of a rebuild. I split the stock E7 block in half while at a race in FLorida last March. Going back together with a DART Sportsman block with a 347 ci rotating assy. Sending the heads off to Fox Lake to have them ported and flowed. It should go somewhere in the 9.70 range when its finally back together. . Sorry, didn't mean to hjack your thread.

You have to look at what their record form last year was, and who they have returning. Alot goes into these rankings, they're not just drawn from a hat. IMO, thats about where they should be.
