11 penalties and 2 turnovers is what got us. The score didn't reflect the stats.

From where I'm sitting, both WB and Central have ALOT to improve on. If they both play their "A" game, it could be a very close contest. Brook needs to settle down and play 4-quarter football. Be patient on offense, and take what they give you....quit trying to force plays. Central...well, I didn't see their game, but after talking to a couple of Jag fans, they played horribly and never got anything going. I expect that will change this week. West Brook 35 Central 14

Glad you feel that way. BTW, that 9-4 record aint going to MY head, cause I know it could easily be 5-5. Take some of your own advice, dont let the 38 points ya'll put up on Central go to your head, as it could come back to bite you.

Anything we accomplish this year will have been earned. Nobody from WB assumes we're going to state. Do you know how good a team must be to even get to that point? If we make it, it will have been earned....nobody will have given us anything. And with NS, Katy, Cinco Ranch, and WB all going D1....it's doubtful that we make it that far. PAM on the other hand, should have a cake walk through D2. If ya'll dont make it at least to the quarters, I'd call your season a failure.

Listen, I'm pretty reserved and am not one to come out and talk a bunch of smack....unless I know WB will surely beat whoever we're playing. And even then, I dont normally do it, because I dont want to look like a fool if we get beat by a team that I've talked trash on. But you are making comments that are eventually going to make people hate your team and wish to not even converse with you.....even on a public message board. I hope that you dont end up with your foot in your mouth. I tried to be nice by sending you a friendly PM, but obviously you are not taking it to heart. Just saying......Good luck with the rest of your season.

You seem pretty confident in a team that hasn't done anything yet? I hope, for your sake, that confidence isn't mis-construed for arrogance and comes back to bite you!. The same thing happened last year after ya'll beat NS. All you PAM posters talked trash, and what happened? Need I say more?

No, WB just played very poorly. Penalties stalled 3 or 4 scoring drives. The offense sputtered at times and couldn't seem to find a rhythm. Just overall sloppy play. They're gonna have to play better. The score should have been 48-0. I think we'll play better next week. ;) I guess the biggest thing was the fact that neither team had the use of headsets and communication with the pressbox. It being a new stadium, I guess that little thing was overlooked. Its kinda hard to make adjustments when you cant communicate with your coaches in the pressbox. Next week will be better.

Geez. I think I called this one.

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy game on the part of the Bruins. Stupid penalties, turnovers, and a lack of offensive production in the first half. The Bruins could have easily scored 42-48 points. I blame it on first game jittters in a new stadium. We must play alot better or its gonna be a long season. PAM routed Central......looks like they might be ready to play this year.....FINALLY! Anyway, its a "W" for the Bruins to start the season, but play is definitely gonna have to improve.
