1. The way I see it, WB and NS go in the D1 slot. PAM and LP go into D2.
 2. Nope.....The Woodlands 13  Tyler Lee 7
 3. If we qualify, we go D1. Unless for some miracle of evolution, Sterling qualifies for the playoffs. If that happens, NS and Sterling go D1, and WB/PAM/LP have to fight it out for the last two spots in D2.
 4. Congrats on the win, Titans. 4-0 aint half bad!
 5.
I almost failed to tell the BRUIN team that regardless of the outcome---I think they showed lots of heart tonight.  They never gave up (with exception of the football itself a few times  :o), they made lots of big hits and big plays.  The defense was impressive and the score will not do them justice.  You guys are definetly my team of choice and I am proud to be a fan.  Get your heads up and be who you already are.  The Best !!!  8)
Speak for yourself, cause it looked to me like our offense kinda quit when Reyes went out. Oh well, on to Tyler Lee.
 6. easier? speak for yourself, scoot. We're probably gonna see them again.

But if I had to guess, It looks like they will be going D1. Which means if we win 21-5A, and they win 19-5A.....then we would see them again in the third round.
no, we want payback from 2003  >:( we owe them a lil butt spankin, and what id really love is for the Astrodome to be re-opened for the match-up.  ;)
Uhh, it aint gonna happen this year, my friend. Katy is gonna be tough for any team to beat.

Plain and simple. WB's game plan was not wrong, IMO, but when you turn the ball over 5 times in the first half, and they score on all those TO's....that was the equalizer here folks. WB could play with this team. In the first half, they could not drive the field against us. WB, on the other hand, was moving the ball fairly well against the state's best defense. The game changed when Reyes went down. Stump was not ready to face a defense like Katy's, and it showed when he tried to run the offense. Reyes will be OK, and will probably be back next week against Lee. My hats off to Katy, ya'll were the best team tonight. I would have like to have seen what we might have been able to do against ya'll if Reyes hadn't gotten hurt. Katy was able to capitalize on our mistakes and fumbles, and that is what makes them one of the state's premier teams. Katy will win the state title this year, IMO. Bruins will be fine, and will live to play another day.
I agree...but no one knew he wasn't 100% before the game and did pretty good...we'll see each other in the play offs for round two!....yea I want some more!
It would be the third round....and no, you dont want any more. In 2000, Katy played Alief Elsik in the regular season and won 49-3. In the playoffs that year, Katy won 54-14. In 2002, Katy played Humble in the regular saeson and won 37-36. In the playoffs, Katy beat them 24-7. In 2004, Katy played Jersey Village and won 21-14 in the regular season. In the playoffs that year, Katy won 31-7. SO you see, Katy doesn't falter in the playoffs....they only get better. I could do fine without seeing them again this year.
 9.
Does anybody desire to have a new pool put in?   We seem to have discovered ways to dig a hole rather quick. ::)
RIght....imma use that on another board! LMAO!

 11.
Good game brook ... Congrats to katy on the win.. I'm going say and be done with it katy got lucky plain and simple. WB is the real deal with bruce reyes this kid is amazing I'm proud to be a bruin. Time to get ready for next week GO GET 'EM BROOK.....
The thing that bothers me the most, was how much the offense fell off without Reyes in there. That is not good, folks. I mean, Stump had problems running the option (one of our turnovers). When your offense is built around one person, and that person is not there anymore, problems can arise. Based on what I was told at the game, Reyes will be fine. Had Katy not come out after the half and scored those quick 10 points, (again on turnovers) I think he might have gotten back in the game. But after that, it was like, "whats the point"? Let #8 get some playing experience. WB, I hope, learned alot from this game. I believe we will be able to apply it to the rest of the season. Pick your chins up, guys. There's still alot of football to play.

WB will be fine.
I agree. He doesn't have the poise that Reyes has. That, and timing, comes with experience.
It was a tough night to get tested
Yeah, it was. Katy was just a better team tonight. Plain and simple. They didnt make mistakes. And when you play mistake-free football, your chances of winning increase dramatically.

 14. It looked like he bruised his shoulder when he ended up on the bottom of the pile. I think he will be OK.

 16. Leaving the house to start the tailgating. Will be back on here to post after we watch the Bruins "dance with the devil!" ;D
 17. Terrible tragedy. Definitely puts things into perspective.
Guess what, gang? I just found out that, not one, but BOTH of our starting corners will be in pads and be game ready tomorrow! As it turn out, the injuries were mainly superficial, and both CB's will play against Katy! Mark it down, skywrite it, or post it in the field house.....I dont care what you do with the information, but be ready. The Bruins will be hittting on ALL cylinders tomorrow at The BUTCH! ;D And they want to win!
That's great! I hope nobody on the WB team is hurt. I hope they are all healthy. That way when Katy wins they won't make excuses and post on here that this is why we lost. Let's make a deal win or lose nobody get on here and make excuses afterwards why they lost. I don't want to here the refs weren't calling it, or our players were hurt and didn't play this game, etc... You win then you were the best team, you lose and you just got beat. Plain and simple. No excuses after the game please!
Classy post, westie!
 19. I think the Bruins might just be able to pull a rabbit out of the hat against Katy. Would that be an upset?

 21.
I am going to make a prediction. Tomorrow night at 10:00 pm  WB will no longer be ranked 6th in the State of Texas nor 45th in the United States of America. The only question left to answer is whether they will be ranked 1th thru 4th in the State and crack the top 20 in the nation.
LOL! :D I like your optimism!
 22. This was posted on the 5A board to remind us of things to come. I was there.....it was not pretty. [Hidden Content]
