I remeber that kid from last year. Which is to say, I remember his name. There wasn't much on-field performance that would have made me remember him.

I might forego the WB/Sterling game and come on out to watch this game instead. This one might be good! I think it's gonna be closer that most people think.

The score in this game should have been 28-7. Stump did OK running the offense, but IMO, the coaches have no faith in his passing ability, because he only threw maybe three times the entire night. On another note, this had to be absolutely, the worst, most horrible officiated game for HS in my entire life!!!! I believe Lee brought the refs with them for this game, cause they tried to give them the win in the 4th. On BOTH fumbles by WB in the 4th, the runner was clearly down, as shown on the video screen replay, and WB should have maintained possession. Instead they run one all the way back for a TD, and the other they got it to inside the 5 and punched it in. And on that TD pass, the replay showed the receiver made the catch OUT OF BOUNDS!!!! They gave it to them anyway. KUDOS to the WB defense.....they kept us in this game all night. Offense seems to be very one-dimensional without Reyes under center. Run, run, run, punt, run some more, punt again......Geez, we desperately need a week off....too many injuries. We should have all our starters back for the district opener against Sterling. It was an ugly officiated game, but we'll take the win. See ya in two weeks!

[/quote] The only reason lil Stump is even the back up is because his last name is Stump! I've watched this coach get way too much credit when the Bruins wins and not enough credit when West Brook loses. He has senior WRs on his team that has been in the system for four years and yet he runs his son out there at WR. We have better kicking options in number 1 and number 14, but he runs his son out there to kick. This is the most blatant case of daddy ball I have ever seen. [/quote]I've kinda noticed the same thing. Fortunately, anythime he runs #8 out there in the offense it is a running play. Stump has never been thrown to. I just pray we can squeak by with a W today. I heard #8 looked really good in practice this week. Plus, I believe they may bring Reyes in to run the ball if need be. Ol' Stump may bring some tricks out of the bag that Lee hasn't seen for this one. Hopefully.......
