2.
if WB can hold Oilers to under 150 yds rushing then i see WB winning by 10, if not then Oilers will take this one.
Thats assuming their secondary can stop our passing attack. Come to think of it, I hope their defense is as good as Dobie's defense. BTW, does anybody have the game stats for the Dobie game? I bet we had over 400 yards of offense.
 3.
11-0 but only ranked #15. Something must be missing.
They have no defense. Plus, their strength of schedule is kinda weak.
 4. .....then kicked the bench over on the other side. His coaches were not happy campers. -30 yards. We'll take it!
 5.
wow, thats a tough draw round 2
To be the best, you got to beat the best. BTW, welcome back rykerx.
 6. Here is Pearland's schedule this season. No common opponents in this one. Houston Madison (6-4)      W    35-14 FB Kempner (5-5)              W    41-27 Houston Memorial (5-5)      W    49-42 Clear Springs  (8-2)          W    40-38 Clear Lake (4-6)                W    35-18 Dickinson (5-5)                W    44-31 Clear Creek (7-3)              W    35-28 Brazoswood (4-6)              W    27-23 Clear Brook (5-5)              W    48-25 Alvin (1-9)                        W    62-23 FB Kempner                      W    28-13 Looks to me like if our D steps up and makes some stops, WB can beat this team. They have made their way by simply outscoring their opponents. Teams with winning records against them, have played them really close. I like WB's chances in this game.
 7. This is what I've been told about Pearland: Oilers defense isn't their strong suit. Great offense with RB and QB. WB should be able to eat them up with the passing game and get enough yards on the ground to keep them honest. Their district seems to focus heavily on outscoring rather than stopping...you guys have a great chance if you bring your typical D. All 21-5A games will be basically offense vs defense matchups.
 8.
Heard we might be playing there. Fri or Sat don't know yet. Good luck to the Brook
I'd watch another PN-G game. Last night's was fun. Golden Triangle doubleheader, of any kind, would be cool!
 9. Come on Wheatley!!! Cant stand Foe'swood!
 10.
Great game Brook --Total team effort.  Offense + Defense+special teams = Round 2.  We still had stuff left in our bag of tricks.  Couple of dropped balls could have gone the distance.  Hats off (pun intended) to Big #73 on Dobie.  He held everything he could except his helment which cost them 30 yards and an ejection.  While his team was getting the  Butch Slap he was doing the  bench flip.   :o
Very good post game synopsis, WBg. Very entertaining. :D
 11.
OK....The game is Sat 1pm @ Stallworth. I know we will be the visitors(as always at Stallworth). I wish that Boutte and the P.A. folks setup a double header with Memorial/Dickinson.
That'd be cool. I'd stay for that game.
 12. Well, I was going to give you the WB game info for next weekend, but you already got it. Man, you're fast Todd! ;D
 13. Next Saturday, 1pm, Stallworth Stadium in Baytown.
 14.
Kingwood Park  29 Brenham 24  FINAL
AWESOME! :D
 15.
Pearland by as many as they want
Really? You think so? What does Pearland do that WB hasn't already seen this year. I would venture to say they dont do more than NS or Katy. We'll be ready? I believe it may be closer than people think. WB wasn't suppose to have a prayer last year against FB Hightower, either....who was also 11-0. We all know the outcome of that game. WB won 26-21. The fat lady aint warming up, just yet!
 16. Good news to the rest of 4A! Holy State Championships, Batman! :o
 17.
Stump fumbles and Dobie returns it for a TD.
>:( This worries me for next year.
 18. OK Indians....since I was there to support you in your win, how about some of the purple faithful showing up and help make the home side look full for our game today. We got the room! ;D
 19. Great game, Indians. I had the pleasure of sitting next to a bunch of crazy, NDN fans. Thanks to them for making a Bruin feel welcome. Again, great game played. The best team won.
 20. I found this to be an interesting graphic on the playoffs. [Hidden Content] These guys are and incredible 78% at picking the winner when the game is decided by 3 points or less. They have us losing to Pearland in the second round by 1 point. Hey, its the playoffs....anything can happen.
 21.
Warren Warriors- Not because of the disappointing record but because of the low turnout of players. The kids that played have my utmost respect because they are young and will only get better if they stay with it.The young AD will bring the football program around if some of the kids that are in the stands will get on the field.
True, but everybody knows Warren is a baseball school, not a football school.
 22. CRAP! Well, there just went one dimension to our running game. Lets just hope they dont forget the "Stick-Em" for the WR's this week. ;D
