This is absolutely not true, Mike. I, up until as recently as this year, have never questioned our coaching staff's ability to put a quality, competitive team on the field. And for the most part of this year, WB was competitive. What fan doesn't question decisions that are made....good or bad? However, there have been some things that have surfaced that have made me take a step back and look at the bigger picture of things. This goes alot deeper than just one game, fellas. A few of you out there that I've talked to about it, agree with me on the points I've made. But when I try to bring it to the board, it doesn't bode well with some of you, and I end up with alot of you questioning my loyalty to the WB football team. So, if my statements have made some of you question my belief in our coaching staff, then so be it. But I still believe that we should have showed up and competed more than we did. If ya'll are content with these types of results, then that's fine. But I want more. I want a another state championship!

WOW! What a shootout! Props to your coaches for keeping ya'll in the game and giving ya'll a chance to compete for the win! Good coaching wins over talent any day! ;D Congrats, NDN's!

Great season Jags. However, there is no reason ya'll should have lost this game tonight. I dont understand some of the playcalling ,and the lack of halftime adjustments. Humble is a very beatable team, but coaching failed you tonight. Ya'll came out after the half, and ya'll were flatter than a balloon two weeks after the party. I dont know what they said to ya'll inside the locker rooms, but whatever it was, it had an adverse effect on you compared to how you guys came out to start the game. No excuse to lose this game. I hated to see it end this way.

Hey Soulja, you like my optimism?  ;D I'm trying a new thing this week. Instead of looking at all the things we do wrong. I've decided to look at all the good things we do. Hopefully, it will pay off. Hopefully, I will still have all my hair after this game and hadn't pulled it all out! :D

We've got some speedsters as well. ;) Not to mention, it's been my experience that when an offense is built around one person, especially a RB.....when you shut him down, you increase your chances of winning exponentially!

OK, thats great and all....but it looks like that kid is their whole offense. Granted, he's probably gonna get his, and we're probably not going to be able to completely shut him down. But if our D can limit his yardage, I think we can beat this team. I think they are gonna have a harder time stopping our O than we are stopping theirs. It might turn into a shootout, but I think we can keep pace with them. I must say this....I was really impressed with the offensive playcalling in the Dobie game. Stump was spreading it out pretty good. Some misdirection plays, and alot of mixed up pass/run plays. If that kind of playcalling carries over to the Pearland game, then WB is gonna be tough to beat. For me to be this optimistic going into a game as important as this, you know I must like our chances. ;D
