He has good curveball the he can spot. He doesn't throw but mid 80's. He changes speed and locates well. Just a good solid pitcher and he is a lefty.

He's 5'6", has no scholarship offers and is supposedly walking on to Panola. He may not be tall, but the kid can pitch as you can see with his record over the last few years.

I don't know about the rocks and windshield incident, but I can vouch for one of the players from GCM last night.  My wife and I were talking to him and his parents after the game and well after the other players had left.  As far as the comment, I would hope that one of our players wouldn't say that.  I know that there were several questionable tweets leading up to the game, but still no reason to make the comment if it was indeed said. That being said, I, as a parent of a Lumberton player would like to apologize in the event it was said. I will certainly question my son.

The GCM boys drove to watch the game, because it has a direct impact on where and who, "The Goose" will be playing in the playoffs. Basically, yes. A member coach nominates his player and the other member coaches vote. In my experiences, if the member coach nominates (especially if he has been around a while), his player usually is selected.
 
There are some All State teams that are not selected that way. There is a Texas Sportswriters All State team, etc....

How are you picked to be on the Pre Season Super Gold Baseball Team when an arm injury has kept you from participating in the 2014 & 2015 season??

I was the same way. I rooted for the ags in every game but one. Then they moved to the SEC, and many of the fans became intolerable, and now I can't help but cheer against them.

I have never really liked the Aggies. We're not talking "hate", just from a rival standpoint. They were the Aggies. (Now Sooners, that's hate.)
 
I've been to Kyle Field and watched some games. Hell, half of my in-laws are aggies. My nephew is a Yell Leader at the Galveston campus. So I would not consider myself a hater.
 
Back in the day, aggies were harmless. They won a few games here and there, but never really threatened anyone for that matter. They might win the SWC or the Big XII, but as a fan you knew they were still the aggies. Now, after moving to the SEC, aggie fans (my relatives included) are intolerable. The constant banter about the SEC, yada, yada, yada. It's insufferable. Keep in mind the aggies have not accomplished anything as a team. They have not won their conference, not competed for a NC. Nothing. Yet now they hang their hats on the accomplishments of the SEC. Good Goat, it's awful.
 
I can talk football with any logical person. I have a bias for UT, but I am not blind. I saw what was happening in Austin. So did everyone else. Change was made.Now if the aggies would just reel in the SEC crap, maybe we could all just get along.

I guess I am confused why you think this? I believe 100% we would have won 1-2 more games with heard at QB over swoopes last year.  How hard is it to see that Strong did not want to burn his shirt or scar him behind that OL? It was worth sacrificing a trip to one tier higher bowl to save his shirt.
 
In addition, Swoopes played ok until the last two games where he totally melted down..why on earth would you burn his shirt with one or two games left? Up until TCU and Ark it wasn't obvious that swoopes was never going to get it...after those two game, he is done at QB.
 
I suggest you go back and watch Heards Guyer tape...The kid can throw it well enough and is a excellent runner....swoopes wasn't even a good runner.
