  1. Wow, sounds like we have an AWESOME offense this year. Tell me fellas, since I don't get to watch but 1 game a year when I get to make it back to the hill...is the problem the offensive scheme, wrong players in the wrong position, or is our talent level just that far behind our competition every week. Next week will be way beyond UGLY I'm afraid!!!!!
  2. No, it's one in the same. We couldn't afford one...lol
  3. Thanks ...Soulja for the game summary...wished I could have been there myself and appreciate your props for our young men. Sounds like great game regardless of which sideline one is on and it also sounds like props should go both ways. Thanks for your post.

Go get em big bro! OUCH!!! ;D Way to hang Eagles...and Central, great poise to come back on our Eagles like that in the 4th!
  5. Ah now son, why would you want to say something imbicilic like that. If a team loses, it's not because the winning team paid-off the refs; it's more probably the team was outhustled, outcoached, and flat out outplayed. Congrats to Dayton for a good season. Congrats to BH for a good season and congrats to Bay City and good luck on down the road. Cheez!
  6. Now, was that so hard??? Congrats Central and keep the momentum next week against LaMarque.
  7. yeah, you're right. We're done and your team goes on for another week. Too bad you were never taught how to be a good winner!
  8. GREAT JOB and great year BH. We knew you could hang!!!
  9. Woo hoo, go Eagles.... how much time????
  10. hey PP, do you have a contact at the game with a cell phone?
  11. Way to go Broncos....Good luck next week too!
  12. DANGGGGGGG, c'mon EAGLES!!!
  13. how much time left, did they say?
  14. Yeah it does and sure would like to hear a positive update in the Hill's favor.
  15. And we greatly appreciate it!
  16. Me too, but I'm proud of the showing after all the posts as to how they would be smoked by a superior team from a superior district.
  17. Woo hoo --- You go EAGLES!!! Thanks jdawg for the updates!!!! Much appreciated
  18. Way to go Eagles, way to hang with the "super district"!
  19. is game being broadcast on the internet anywhere?
  20. Alright Fanatic, whatever you think. I can only assume you're referencing my posts. Evidently, you've not read all my posts on this thread or the others. I haven't talked smack to anyone. Yeah, SFA85 and I have our differences but it's just good debate. And as much as I want to pinch his head off sometimes for some of the things he says, I think I would still like to sit in the grand stands and watch a game with him. He seems like a pretty bright fella and has as much love of the game as I do. I haven't conceded the win to Central nor has any other Hilllian that I know of. I think we all know it's going to be dogfight and I just wished I could be there to watch it.
  21. Alright, I knew this would get some good dialogue going...lol Fanatic...I'm not an idiot and I'm not saying definitively that Central is going to win. It's back to any given outcome on any given night. I do feel Central is way more talented than the Hill based on everything I can read about them. But that doesn't mean it's already over and I'm still rootin' for the Hill to impress some people. But it's not the end of the world if we lose either. I don't know that I would classify 21-4A as a "weak" district. Maybe weaker than 22-4A as a collective body, but not weak as in a bunch of pansies weak! WOS92...your last comment I don't feel is quite as accurate. Yes Beaumont has Westbrook, Central, Ozen, Kelly, Cathedral Christian and so forth...but do the math. 113+k divided by 5 or so schools is still wayyyy much more than 6000 or so. It actually equates to nearly 4 times the population if it were divided equally. I know, I know it's all hypothetical and speculation, but it's about the most tangible way to compare. The fact that students can choose their school may even be in the favor of the Beaumont schools. If you have a strong program and you have the wherewithall to send your kids to the elite program, then that program is almost a school with the "allstars". Not quite the same from a school of 6000 where there is no choice. Conversely, it could be said that it waters down the programs but I doubt that one is as accurate. And finally SFA, I never-ever said anything about black schools or inner city schools in ANY racial innuendo so PLEASE don't put words in my mouth. I would NEVER EVER bring race into these boards as it has NO PLACE here, PERIOD!!!!
  22. I hear you and I respect your opinion. I agree that perhaps sometime they do, but I also have been reading these threads all season and I would say it's about the same from a few from all schools. Keep yourself above it all young man, ok?
