Next game let's move on. I pray the young man for Jasper is ok. The Silsbee kid made a poor choice but the red didn't call it. If I'm the coach, I have him do 100 yards of belly flops aka up downs talk about it an move forward.

I don't like to see stuff like this. Silsbee player needs to be diciplined. Big fight 2 years ago after basketball game and now this. Mayne they should not see each other for 3 or 4 years?

Didn't Jasper late hot the hell out of Jay McGuire back in 1993 ending his high school career. I was there with a front row seat for that.

It comes down to Silsbee cutting out dumb penalties and the OL holding up. Silsbee needs to get the ball in Barnes and Lowe hands 7-10 times a game somehow.

here is something else to look at. The year Adonis ran for 1300 yards, Dontre Thomas was running the spread. Dontre ran for 1800 yards and like 28 tds. Mackey had like 1200 yards receiving and Barnes had like 900. Dontre also threw for over 3000 and 30 or 40 tds. Silsbee offense isn't as Dynamic this year. You need to find ways to open the offense up get Barnes and Lowe on the edges and this will open it up for Adonis to pound away inside.

Maybe so guys. There is still a lot of football left to be played and time for improvments. I think over the past 10 or so years, Silsbee has had a very mobile QB with a good OL. The problem is now you don't have a mobile QB and a suspect OL. That doesn't equate to much offense. We will see from here on out. I also think not having that 2nd scrimmage hurt a lot as well.

Silsbee OL was terrible last year. Tyler mad it look fair with his speed.

Last time Sikabee tried to do the pocket passer thing, it didn't work out back in 2014. Maybe they can run a two QB system with a dual QB. Not having a mobile QB and a suspect OL is bad. Very bad.

Listening to the game and a watching a few games last yeaf, this offense scheme is still questionable. Adonis, did well his sophomore because he is a solid back but had a very mobile QB who rushed for 1800 yards and 20 something touchdowns. Silsbee QB this year isn't as noble and the scheme is much different. Tyler was a dynamic back who made the offense last year with Jones and Barnes. The Silsbee OL really needs to dig in and get better or this team is going nowhere. I hope this was just bad play due to being 1st game and a week or so no practice. Defense is much improved but can't be on the field all night. Not sure why on 3 different possessions we threw the ball od 2nd and short. Silsbee needs to keep the ball in Barnes and Lowe's hands 50% of the time. Alot of games left. I see us as a 3rd lr 4th seed or staying home.
