Yep I've been to a few games in that old McDonald's Gym.

I graduated in 1998 and I've only been to one game in the Silsbee (new high school) gym. 2011 Silsbee vs HJ.

I dont recall Kountze basketball doing much in the 80s and made the turn around when Coach Green took over around 1994. That team with Lowe and McDaniel was pretty good. The Josh Hancock and Chris Miller team made it to state in the late 90s. Over the past 31 years 3 titles and quite a few trips to state have been great but these are some dark basketball times for Kountze.

Lumberton will go about 3 rounds deep. Im not sure they make it tlpast round 2.

Those young bucks in Silsbee will look alot different in next season for sure. I see more growth in height and size. I see a minimum run to Regionals from here on out.

I hope he gets well. I enjoy watching him play all 4 years
