I personally wish we would not hear "refs" again. WOS came in and won the game PERIOD, they beat us they played quality football HJ did not. HJ turned the ball over WOS did not. WOS controlled the Line of Scrimmage HJ did not.

As far as the penalty differential I will say this WOS committed I believe 4 personal fouls for unsportsmanlike conduct, and actually while one of the PF was being discussed a WOS player did or said something to an official that made him throw another flag that he ended up picking up and waving off???? One mustang ( I belive the running back) actually threw a punch on a HJ player was flagged and penalized. I as a spectator and TASO official have no clue how the player was not ejected from the game.
All that said I have not seen that much lack of discipline from WOS EVER and I would lay odds Coach T will address it quickly. I would expect to see that kind of mannerism from another team that is not in our district schedule anymore

It's funny how people have big nuts behind a computer screen! 41-21! Once again you run an offense that is designed to help pitiful teams but yet I feel that you are better than that! You have speed and strength and broke on us several times! When you run that offense it has a few major weaknesses. If you get behind in that offense then your screwed! It holds you back and hinders your team because its not a fast scoring setup, your main objective is ball control ! I never once said your kids were pitiful! I said that you run an offense that is designed to help pitiful teams! I would never dog out a kid, not my style but I guess you can't see what I'm talking about then and you just don't want to! So whatever then you call me an idiot all you want but I guarantee any real coach would agree with what I just stated!

So you are saying that our team is pitiful but the kids on this pitiful team are not pitiful??? Whatever helps you sleep at night... I would think ANY good coach would say you run what works best for your team and what you have PROVEN success with

That should be a huge relief to those WOS fans who have been lamenting about the run game. To have a back go over 200 yds by punching a big, physical defense right in the mouth is promising. If they find a nice balance with that offense, look out come playoff time.

I agree with that HJ was dead set on covering your pass game and you took it to us on the ground. A two headed monster is tough to beat

It stung but did NOT change the game HJ could not stop the run. I actually think we blitzed right past it several times

I wish someone could post a video of that punt call. I also want to see if the side judge threw a bean bag like he claimed. The guys in the booth didn't see it but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Can't imagine he would lie about that but curious to see....

Watch 12 news blitz when they post it online I have it on DVR they show it twice and like I said it clearly does not touch anyone and the reporters rib the refs pretty hard.

WOS handled buisness we did not. You can not make mistakes against a team like WOS we made many. Your running game hit us hard and it was right up the middle we have to stop that.

Several saw it, it was right in front of us. You HJ fans whine all you want but that's one they got right.

You need to watch 12 news blitz they have it on film ball never even gets close to touching an HJ player and the reporter is laughing and making jokes about how terrible of a call it was..

I'm just waiting for the guy that said I was an idiot to post! This game was horrible for both teams tonight and we all knew this would happen! So many WOS drives were hurt by penalties and of course the phantom punt play! All in all these kids played hard and gave it all they had! Respect them and good luck to everyone

I called you an idiot but you may want to go re- read the post. You claimed the offense we run is for pitiful teams and if you still believe that then your still an idiot. You run a offense that fits your program and that is what we do

Just for giggles watch the Blitz the reporter shows "the punt" play and is making fun of the officials because it clearly shows the ball touches no one

To be honest we (HJ) have been drawn to a punted ball like moths to a flame ALL year, we have lost a couple that have been accidentally touched and we have been lucky enough to jump on a couple that we accidentally touched.... Bottom line learn a lesson and get the hell away from it.

WOS better team tonight. They played solid, I said HJ would have to play with no mistakes and we made many. Was not the refs , we played sloppy..
Only call I disagree with was the touched ball on punt he was at least 3 yards from it

As a dad of players, and a TASO official I have sampled most of the "cuisine" in this area. 

Gotta give a thumbs up to West Orange Stark had a popcorn ball from there yesterday during the game. All I can say is "GIT YOU ONE"

Not taking anything away from you, you guys did exactly what a good team should do to a team that comes out and plays sloppy. We earned every bit of that butt kicking.

Also to give credit where credit is due your JV group throws the ball around very well, looks like they were for sure on the same page. What I expect to see from WOS sub varsity they play well together.

sure he means on the varsity level,and u just said that was mostly freshman out there and they are good,our dline was all over that mini version of slot t,which tells me on the next level they will be ready for it

Dont give your dline too much credit HJ was SLOPPY we had at least 5 center to QB snap fumbles, 3 of which WOS got control of (one on our 1 yard line and you did not score) 2 bad punt snaps that resulted in turnovers deep in our own territory. This is what happens when two teams (JV and Freshman) that do not practice together end up having to merge.

It is what it is.

Also want to clarify that the WOS fans were not rude or disrespectful but as a parent you want to sit on your kids side.

 

 

On a side note had one of THE BEST popcorn balls I have ever had.

for years now at jv games fans sit together,prolly cuz it's too much to clean up just for a jv game,and for the most part fans stay pretty quietI

Sorry I disagree a parent wants to sit behind their kids bench. We played Tatum JV at home this year they had less than 10 people in the stands we did not close our stands down to them. the gentleman that told us we could not sit over there because WOS did not want to open the restrooms,  Some of our parents told him that we would walk over to the home side if we needed to use the restroom but he still said they could not sit there.

So you think you might can beat us once out of the next 4 or 5 years?

Already have last year. Freshman group at HJ is one of the best classes of athletes I have seen in a long time.

Stangs win this one tonight in a slobberknocker, hj has got to be a little worried when the rest of their teams kinda got blowed out. JV score doesn't bode well for hj's future in beating WOS, pressure on for them to win this ye

We have very few true JV players that was mostly our freshman. You know the same freshman that beat y'all last year as 8th graders and if we played your true freshman team it would have been another defeat for you. Your Freshman group CAN'T beat this HJ freshman group. 

 

On a side note I found it to be bad form to not let the HJ crowd sit on the visitor side.
