There should be a pretty good crowd of people there to watch the two area winning teams that went to state last year.

Nothing wrong with a little bragging. Especially the way you do it. He's a great player. Because of the coaches, Carthage is always dangerous no matter how many people they lose/graduate. Good luck Bulldogs on the rest of the way. Great job LCM now yall have something to build on. Will be even better next year.

You're right about getting better. In some ways. There is a good group of 8th graders coming from Mauriceville. They already have good size on them and you know they're going to grow a little more. The QB if he gets any taller than he is now with the arm he has, he will be ready to go as a sophmore. Of course there is a lot of things that changes the minds of kids at this age but it would be nice to have those kids stick together. And of course coaching those kids will have a big impact on how they develope and at LCM that will be another story down the road. 

Are you going to the game? It's going to be cold and Rainey I will be there. I'm hoping the coaching staff has them ready. But like you said last week no matter what the play call is you have to make that one work. there should be no excuse for not making positive yards. Our jv won district and I believe some of these kids could or should play in this game. it's time to get over the hump one and done is not good enough. what a better way to prove yourself to beat a team that everyone thinks that there going to beat you.

I can't make this game but i will be keeping up with it on my cell phone in W. Tx. Hopefully the rain will hold off until later Saturday night. It's a little to late in the year to be gettin down on anybody but it's not hard to do when a team comes out flat for a big game and I have seen my share of that in the past. I'm hoping they can pull it out and get a playoff win. I believe it can be done if the offensive line steps up and plays to their potential. It will have to be a game played almost perfect. You've been to the games, you know what I'm saying. I will be pulling for the Bears.

Sir with do respect if LCM pulls an upset and beats Carthage I expect you to be on here eating your crow. I understand Carthage is or was a good football program in the past and I respect thier program. I have not watched all the game film on Carthage. But what I've heard there talent level is about good as Huffman. If that is true we have chance.

I can appreciate your spirit there Chris17. It’s going to be a big test for the coaching crew. I would like to see if they will have the guys well prepared for a big game. 

I want to say that LCM defense will be there. Hopefully their O-backs can carry their line. 

It's time to realize that it is not the play calling it's what makes the call work. By the way the touch down that was called back was a good but unfortunate call. I was watching it the whole way and at one point I thought he would get away with it but it became to obvious, he should have let go.

Wouldn't it be nice if LCM would go into this game with the mind set that they had when they went against teams of the last years?

What I was going to say they make you guys look good.

I just want to say to the LCM O-line coaches, "You need to thank who ever you believe in for a LCM O-back field" that you guys have. Because those young men make you guys look.

Chris17 why don't you go up to the FH and tell that coaching staff their not the best.  Easy to get on here and be critical all the time.  What line of work are you in?

He shouldn't have too, those coaches should know it. They know that thier not the best but by the way things are ran at LCM we know thats the best we are going to get. They are not the best but they are not the worst either. They do the best they can with the resources they have given to them.

Does Coach Burke still coach the Junior high? I agree LCM High School Coaching is not the best. The play calling is subpar, and our defense gives up the big plays. Did you graduate  from LCM in 2001?

No but I had four kids that did. One of them graduated in 01. I went to Orangefield grad in 75.

Thats good. We have lacked at the Qb spot for long time. I wish he could play for this jv group that will be on varsity next year. I really think we will be better on varsity next year. We will lack size on the oline but we will have better speed.

The Mauriceville 8th grade they also have size. That group of kids will be a good group of kids if they can stick together. I just hope that they can get some good coaching. They show a lot of promise for LCM in the next few years. I also enjoyed the Mauriceville coach’s enthusiasm, those guys were fired up.

The 8th grade QB from Mauriceville is going to be something else. I don't know who he is but that kid has a arm on him. The parents of that kid needs to get him into some qb camps if they haven't alreadty started. I hope he stays with LCM. If he stays healthy he will probably move up pretty quick.

Great show guys, been tuning in most of this season and really enjoy it! The question had come up about who PN-G played the week after MCM last year and it was actually Vidor. PN-G won 48-21. I remember reading somewhere that Faircloth was actually 3-1 the week after MCM so far.

And the year before "2012". Look out for what you wish for. LCM played PNG the second game of district the past two years. Maybe that's where Vidor would like to be scheduled with PNG. LOL

LCM will score as much as they want.

Do you know if Marvis Brown will be playing he left in the 2nd quarter? and we need Roddy back we had to many dropped balls last week.

I may can get some information by tomorrow then I will relay it to you. Marvis needs to pick it up a little coming down the stretch. I hope he is okay and not seriously injured.

Well there suppose to start working on the high school this year but the superintendent keeps changing the plans of the school. So who knows if they will fix the scoreboard

I almost forgot what I got on here for. The bears should get through this game without any problems. We just can't afford to get people hurt. Depending on which Bear team show's up it could be by 3 TD's or it could be by 1 TD. Anyway LCM should win this one.

it was broke last year too. I'm guessing they have not fixed it. After the high school is built I hope they look serious at rebuilding the stadium and everything it's pretty much out dated. I know we are going to have two gyms but a indoor football field would be nice
