  1. If the Bears show up in the same condition they did last week it will be all Tigers. The worst I had seen the Bears play in a good while. I have seen them bounce back in the past, so I will go with them this week but I believe it will be close. I have to admit that last week was the first game that I have been to because of work. I can't understand why such a let down from last year. I can understand loosing talented Seniors making a difference but that is not the case. The let down I'm talking about is attitude, all the walking around and no hustle in some of the guys. Almost like they really wasn't in to it. That can be corrected and hopefully we will see it Friday night.

  2. It is going to be a long long long season for LCM. Scrimmage or not the coaches for LCM prepared their team to get whipped on both sides of the line. If you could have seen the game you would know that this let down does not come from the kids. Who were the spectators on the sidelines with the green and gray shirts and shorts on? “PREPARE TO WIN” you are wearing it go out and do it.

Can a LC-M fan or alumnus please tell me what is going on in North Orange? I can't believe the difference in the team. I know we lost a lot of talent from last year with Sonnier and Hunter Gonzales but all HS teams lose talent every year.

    Thanks for the reply.
[/quote]Good question. We lost people in key positions and those guys had it in their heart, they grew salty over years of getting their rear ends handy to them every Friday night for reasons out of their control. Those guys did not have to be coached.  They pretty much carried the senior’s this year which where juniors last year on their shoulders. And the staff does not have the answer for it. But they will get that kneel down. Now which knee do you take right, left or both.
  4. You guys know what this is all about. If the score was the other way around this wouldn’t even be a topic on this thread. It’s “FOOTBALL”, I bet there wasn’t one coach or player out there that did not have the injured player on their mind for a moment while he was being attended too. As for as kneeling do it if it makes you feel better. Congratulations to PNG on the win and the display of a successful football program. LCM fans well, I don’t know what to say. It has always been said look at the scoreboard before you start pointing fingers.

As long as the plays keep coming from the sideline like they have been... LCM doesn't win another game.

Agreed. I am beginning to hear the music of "Turn Out The Lights" or "Moody Blues" if you know what I mean. I believe this coaching staff could turn things around but looking at the remaining schedule it's a little to late. Start building around what players they have returning next year and give some of the Soph. or JV players some experience.
  6. The guys are looking good this year. You would think that the team would look more like a team that was rebuilding. Other than the passing game the Offense looks to be faster than last year. There is still enough passing game left that you can't just play run every down or they will burn you. The defense is the best I have seen in four years FINALLY. For a team that is small in numbers they are in the best shape that I have seen them in. Probably knowing that they have to go both ways has a lot to do with that. We can only hope and pray that these guys stay healthy. GO BEARS!!!
  7. Coach is right about one thing. The defense performance that the Bears showed in the second half last week was the best I have seen in the last four years. A lot of movement and the longer the half went on, it appeared that the guys where building more confidence in what they were doing. Hope that it can carry over and they can build on it. It's just hard to play in this district going both ways on offense and defense.
