I don't see either one getting there next season. I think new blood gets to Arlington albeit from both Region 2 and 3 which both of these schools are from. I'll disclose more after February, but my darkhorse is out of Region 1 and it isn't Argyle.
(This statement isn't for you @Mr. Thornton Melon 😞 ----> Didn't mean to hijack the thread, yall carry on with whatever yall doing on here. 😎😁
I think we have a good chance with who we have returning and who is coming up. My thoughts are Huntsville will be a force to reckon with next year.

I’m assuming PNG might be in a weaker district this upcoming season so they should schedule a tough out of district schedule.
If 4 games I want:
@Katy (this needs to happen)
vs PAM
@WOS
vs Silsbee
Katy would be good. Also, Father against son....would be awesome!

Wuenschel and Frederick are two Jr. Linebackers coming back. Wuenschel is a beast and I believe will get many offers coming up. Frederick didn't start but rotated in a lot and was a top tackler on special teams. Both kids are big and quick about 6'2".

So it sounds like he thinks the guy who called the PI is the guy from Groves. That simply is not the case. Ignorance.
Probably not, I think he knows that it wasn't him and is saving face for losing by blaming refs. He knows what his team did offensively and is gaslighting. Had some respect for him but losing some with that interview.

You’re correct. That was by far the worst team PNG has had in probably more than 20 years, paired with the best player Vidor has ever had. Everyone but Silsbee and Lumberton had their way with us in 2012. I don’t think it had anything to do with the choice of offense.
Yeah Peveto should have been QB that whole year

Pretty sure we beat em at their house that year........We really never had an issue stopping the slot t...
That's what I was wondering. If they stopped Vidor with that squad, I don't think they'd have trouble with LH

We might have Liberty Hill in our region too
That would be interesting. I don't think they get past Huntsville or Lake Creek. If Brenham is up, them either. FBM either. I may be wrong

Let PNG look as bad as Nederland look and see what that culture looks likes. Good coaching brings about good culture. If Nederland had Joseph and PNG had Nederland’s coach we’d be talking about how bad the PNG culture is.
Honestly, my years 84 to 86 we were horrible, but still had good crowds. Maybe not like when your winning but good crowds

I don’t know that SOC makes it back next year. That region is stacked and they will be adding Anna (4A D1 State Champ) who is moving up.
I like PNGs odds though. All that said it is very hard to win 5 straight against top talent each week, especially when you go into each game with a bullseye on your back like PNG will next year.Based on how everything played out I believe Region 3 is a gauntlet. Better defenses it seems. Will probabl be that way again next year

Defense changes is what is making PNG so successful. That’s the reason they won state. Hell of a coach! Congrats to PNG, but when Katy makes that call, just appreciate the time y’all had him. Maybe I’m wrong, but doubt it.
Been saying it forever. If BF had put any effort on Defense, it wouldn't 50 years since our last State champion

They won the game with the help of 2 bogus calls. Kinda taints the win.
Made up for the three missed calls on number two interference
