  1. Cameron Yoe is currently looking for a week 2 game. Shoot me a PM. Home and home is ideal but a neutral location is a possibility.
  2. Rockdale was just simply the better team in this game. Rockdale handed Woodville 17 points to begin things and then Woodville return the favor in the second half. The Eagles simply just do not have any sort of passing threat.
  3. So, your saying that the number could actually go down? For instance, for the 3A ceiling DI/4A basement DII could actually go down? I do know Cameron is going to be border line. If it does go down from last realignment, it will be a move back up. Also, has anyone seen any mock numbers or mock alignments?
  4. Fresh Cameron Yoe 24 China Spring 6 JV Cameron Yoe 35 China Spring 8 Both teams improve to 3-0.
  5. Good start to 2017 for the Yoemen. In this game, I was looking at two key points. A. How would the Yoe offensive line hold up and open up some running lanes for the running backs. B. How would the Yoe defensive front fair against the run-heavy Brahma offense. Well, with over 250 yards rushing and just 1 TD for Bellville (first string), things turned out well. Biggest issue was special teams, which set up Bellville in Yoe territory on multiple occasions. Plenty of room for improvement, but this was the first game of the year. Hats off to Bellville. It will take time to get the offense rolling, but this team will do what Bellville normally does.
  6. This game has been moved to Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
  7. How are things holding up in Bellville right now? We are getting a good amount of rain (5" entering today), but nothing like it is down that way.
  8. Post your your scrimmage reports here. Controlled 1 Vs. 1 2 Vs. 2 Live Quarter, half or full game
  9. Post'em here. Please note if you are not including 9th.
  10. Any projections on cutoff numbers? Very interested on what the bottom number for 4A DII will be.
  11. Hopefully we can start out like we did last year. The goal this year is to win state. I personally had the Yoemen #2 in my poll and Yoakum #1. Those guys are LOADED with talent, including plenty of DI commits. I would love to see that matchup in the semis but region III will be tough as always.
  12. Cameron Yoe 1. Rockdale - It usually is. 2. China Spring - The Cougars embarrassed the Yoemen at their own house last year. That does not happen often. 3. Franklin - Just another big time district matchup.
  13. I think the proper headline should be "Can Bremond stay competitive without Paul". Bremond has had some good teams in the past but not like the past three years.
  14. Yes, last year WO-S would have had Cameron's #, no doubt about that. I am just talking long term success and the best programs around. There will be times when a team is either really great or a little down, but in the long run, these teams have proven to be the best of the best in their area. Those are the matchups I want to see. Same goes for Newton.
  15. I would like to see a Cameron Vs. Newton/WO-S non-district game at a neutral location. I want to see the best of the best going at it.
  16. 4 straight appearances overall. 5 out of the last 6.
  17. This game will come down to two things: A. How well can the Yoemen do up front defensively. B. How well does the Woodville secondary hold up. Any good places to eat near the stadium?
  18. Looking forward to this game. Top passing game Woodville has seen this season?
  19. I was wondering the same thing. Not trying to be rude, but if that is accurate then they seriously need to take a look at how they gathers votes for this poll. I'm assuming it's a typo and it should be East Chambers, Kirbyville, Coldspring or Woodville.
  20. Also, let us know how sub-varsity goes if anyone has access to those scores. We have Bay City coming up in a few weeks.
  21. I personally did not expect the game to go this way, but I can't say I'm upset about that. I thought our defense played extremely well in this ball game. Really forced the slot-t offense of Bellville in to some tough situations throughout the night. Offensively, we did well. Had some snap issues, which are correctable. Only other thing was the ball that should have been caught for a first down but ended up being intercepted, which led to the Bellville TD. Some people were wondering how this team was going to look out of the gate and I think you could not have asked for a much better start. Not the end of the world for Bellville. Still the overwhelming favorite in that district. Enough talent there to win again in 2016.
  22. For a 3A school, fairly deep. We traditionally do not start anyone both ways, and I don't believe that will change this year.
