1. I had watched film over the Hardin/East Chambers game.  You could say we run a similar type of offense as Hardin but quite a bit better.  Defensively for Cameron Yoe: We are going to need to focus mainly on the QB and the RB.  I noticed that he likes to get the shotgun snap and just run it quite a bit.  Defensively for East Chambers: Can they go 1 on 1 with our speedy WR's.  Can they stop big plays from happening.
 2.

if the bucs will believe they will win they have a chance because im sure yoe will over look ec
In all my years of being in Cameron I have not seen a Cameron team more focused/disciplined, then this current team is. In no way shape or form will the Yoemen overlook any team. If East Chambers beats the Yoemen it will be because they are the better team.
True.  If you know our coaching staff and the team chemistry we have going right now, you know we will not be overlooking anyone.  We are going to continue to take things week by week just like we have since our first game.  I think we do bring a great crowd.  Tatum said they brought quite a few(and they do) but we bring a few more.  Cannot wait until Friday night.
 3. Looking forward to this one.  I am going to stick with my prediction of the Newton game to this one...Yoemen by 28.  Does East Chambers bring more people than Newton?
 4.
EC vs Cameron Yoe at Woodforest Stadium 7:30 next Friday
Do you know who is home?
 5. I thought the Yoemen had a good night to say the least.  Newton does have a quality team with quite a bit of speed.  Congratulations on the season. Just wondering if anyone had thoughts that was at the game or possibly someone who listened to it?
 6.
It's been a tough year for Newton, but they still made the playoffs - once you're there it's a new season.  While I do believe Anahuac & EC were better this year, I still think that our district play promotes better play in the playoffs (that's if you don't have to play K'ville again...2 yrs in a row!).  Looking at Cameron's district along with Crockett's district, it appears they haven't had to play anybody in a long time and I think it's to our advantage.  That doesn't necessarily mean we will win our games Friday night, but I think this will be the stiffest competition both of these teams have faced since preseason, and don't forget they're coming off bye week's as well!  Seems like our district has been in playoff mode since about week 5 and nothing would make me happier than to see AP, Newton & EC advance to the next round.  Good luck 10AA Div. I!!!!!!!
Well I do feel both D10 & D12 have prove to be the top 2 in Region III.  Both swept with Anahuac/Newton & McGregor/Marlin picking up wins.  Of course we did not see the competition like we did in our non-district(Rockdale, La Vega, and Navasota), but the district has proven to be stronger that once thought.

Many Yoe fans were at the game last week in Carthage and I think they were a little surprised with the lopsided score, I just hope Newton D plays better cause there is no doubt they can move the ball.  p.s. please kick and punt to #3 lol
I kind of think everyone was a little surprised by the score.  White Oak had just given Tatum all they had wanted in the 1st half....then Newton comes in and beats them by a wider margin.  How good is Tatum?  They have only beat one "good" team in Gilmer and they are down this year by their standards.  Many think Newton has the capability to go all the way....cant wait until Friday night...only a few days away.
Well I don't know what people think up there in your area, but around here no one really thinks Newton has what it takes to win it all .  In fact if you were to ask around Newton most people would say that this is the worst Season Newton has had in many years (3 loses 3rd in district), thats because the standards are so high in Newton. The Newton White Oak game was a game that Newton took over because they had alot more athletes and they simply wore White Oak down.  Newton will defitely utilize there speed in this game, it will come down to who can score the most , dont see the Newton D changing much they have Sucked all Season. Newton has many young talented players (Frosh:FS,WR,RB- K.Shorter)( Soph:CB,backup QB-DJ Dean) starting this year and the future looks very promising , and with the leadership of senior's Rb:Jermy Jackson  All state Rb:Kelvin Bennett  plus Spikes and Seastruck leading the Defense Newton should have a chance to bring home the title.  but it will be the toughest championship run ever considering they are very young and Newton lost the number 4 winninest coach of all time in Coach Curtis Barbay. .
Good points.  I was leaning more towards all of the preseason hype and polls(which in the end mean nothing).  I can understand what you mean by a season with 3 loses in district.  That is obviously down from what a team like Newton or Cameron is used to.  We have been down the last 2 years and this year I think we have a solid group.  Good luck, and safe travels to everyone.

 10. Newton/Cameron Yoe.  2 teams with great tradition.

 12.
Can anyone give info on mcgregor? All I know is they beat malakoff.. hopefully the bucs bring their A game and we won't have to worry. One things for sure, ec sure knows how to win close games so that could come in handy for playoffs
They have the potential to be a pretty good team.  We(Cameron Yoe) had beat them 45-7 earlier this year and we did not really play well that game.  They are going to try to run the ball quite a bit but they can pass a little so you will need to watch out.  The biggest downfall for them has been turnovers at the worst possibly times.  If McGregor can hold onto the ball it might be a decent game.
 13.
Saw Cameron play earlier this year during our off week against my hometown Marlin. Cameron easily won. Cameron has nothing spectacular except a little Jacquizz type RB, but very SOLID at all positions. I think Newton is a little down (not sure)from previous posts--I think Cameron takes this one.
True.  We are not going to run out DI prospects all over the field.  I think overall we are pretty solid all around and if we play up to our capability, it will be hard for someone to beat us IMO.
 14. From what ive heard the game is at George Stadium in spring.  There is also Klein Collins but I do not think it is there.  I will probably find out who is home and visitor tomorrow if no one has that.
 15. This has historically always been a good game.  Two historically great teams.  Cameron Yoe currently has the most wins in Region III 3a all time and Newton always has great teams.  I think the Yoemen are going to come in focused and take care of business.  Yoemen by 28.
 16. Navasota is the team that gave us the best game of the year.  They have been rolling going undefeated in a brutal D23 combined with an impressive victory over Sealy.  Navasota by 21.
