1. Well, I don't believe both teams are quite what they were last year.  As for us, we are very young.  We have a total of 3 senior starters right now, but we have progressed very nicely as they season has moved on.  We have been without our top player/threat since the beginning of our 3rd district game but the younger talent has stepped up and played well.  I will watch some film during the middle of the week and give you a better outlook for the game.
2. If EC can hold the Malakoff QB in check they should win by 3 or 4 TD's.
3.
Tatum could of been beat!!! Not anything special. Newton or EC would be them. Next week probably there last against the Yoemen!!!
What did you see with Tatum and the game overall?  Strengths & Weaknesses?  I heard a report somewhere that the starting RB from Woodville was out in the 2nd half...is this true?
4. Well as you can see on the schedule we beat Academy 34-17.  Not our greatest game but we got it done.  Academy is a run first team but has the ability this year to throw it more often.  I think the game with Malakoff could be pretty close and I will probably be in attendance.
5.

This game should not be that close.  Newton by 30.
Are you giving us a little insight on Tatum? By looking at the score when y'all played them, looked like a pretty even match. I'm on the outside looking in though.
You talking about last years game?  Or did you mean to quote the Tatum poster.
6. I think Tatum will be too much for Woodville.  Tatum by 21.
7. Right now this Region III as a whole is very interesting.  I dont know if there is any team you can look at this year and say wow, they are just rolling.  Of course, in this district you have several teams that are going to be fighting for 3 spots.  If you can make the playoffs, I think anyone could have the potential of making a nice run.
8. My favorite during the playoffs this past year was Woodforest Bank Stadium.
9.

I thought Weimer, but after tonight, I'm gonna say Cameron Yoe.
I bet on Cameron Yoe too.. I believe in his capacity
Good call.
10.
Just 4 teams left!! Central Heights. They will be the #1 seed. Cameron Yoe. They will be the #2 seed. Palmer Bushland There will be a coin flip to decide the 3 and 4 seed. Goodluck to every team headed to Round Rock!
How close were we to Bushland?  I know on Maxpreps(which is unofficial) they were close to us.  Also has anyone seen more then one of these 4 remaining teams play this year?
11. Pretty entertaining season.  Already saw it on Directv 101.
12. Anyone know anything about em?
13. Can we knock off the 2-time defending state champs????  I guess we will find out Saturday night...cant wait.
14. I will be in Mansfield...at least watching Lexington and then the Cameron Yoemen play.
15. There has been a lot of talk about Lago Vista in the media lately.  They think we are a 1 dimensional team that has 1 good WR and they will focus on that.  I guess we will find out more about that tomorrow night.
16.
The Mansfield stadium is very nice!!!  It's not COWBOYS STADIUM, but it is nice.  Hopefully the YOEMEN will be there, and if they are, so will I.
Yeah it is.  I would compare it to a Waco ISD type stadium for Central Texas.
17. I do not know much about Lago either.  There schedule was generally weak with their toughest game(during the regular season being either 3A Robinson(3-7) or San Saba(5-5).  The first real challenge came just this past week with Rice Consolidated(8-3) where they won on a last second drive.  I was watching film earlier of them playing one of the toughest district opponents they had in Marion.  I could not get much out of it but I think we match up well with them.  They will run a sort of Slot-T type offense which we have seen this year.  They have a pretty speedy RB(not quite as speedy at the Tatum backs) but pretty quick.  We will have to plug the hole in the middle and not let them outside, and IMO, will be fine.  Im pretty sure they have not seen a passing game as dynamic that we will throw at them.  I'm interested to see how it goes.
18. Well, what a change in a week.  Tbh, this is the worst game of the year we have had....more so defensively.  In the 1st half I was not that upset.  We gave up 1 score in which there was a roughing the kicker and fake punt which led to a score.  In the second half we came out and score 2 quick TD's to go u 38-7 in the early to mid-part of the 3rd.  Then EC broke off big play after big play.  Offensively, I thought we did a pretty good job the whole night. I did notice that our top WR and top cover man did go down on the 1st offensive play of the night.  I do give EC credit.  They are a very tough team that never gave up.  Congrats on a very good season.
19. Alright..just about 3 hours before we pull out for Shenandoah.  I heard that EC brings more people than Newton so there should be a better atmosphere in this one.  I know Yoe Nation will be supporting the Yoemen tonight and we should have a great showing.  I hope everyone enjoys the game tonight....and safe travels.
20.
I've seen both teams this year.  The Cameron Yoemen have too much speed for EC.  I really think Cameron will win by 30.
Hey, just curious to what game you watched us in this year?
21. Yeah the Navasota game was 35-33 but it really was not that close.  We had them down by 14 points(I think later in the 3rd) and were about to go up by 21 but we fumbled right at the goal line and that really killed us.  A few deep bombs and bam they are back in it.  Navasota is a very good team that has loads of talent.  I hope we pick up the win this week....but according to NORTH East Texas teams we just dont stand a chance..I guess time will tell if we can.
22.
East Chamber's had a hard time with Hardin's reciever's, i was there to see that game .
Yeah I noticed they were having some real problems there.  I am guessing they probably a better run defense team since they have quality victories over Newton, Anahuac, and now McGregor(which is a heavy run team).
