I saw nothing wrong with the play calling last night. Our sluggish offense was 100% a result of not executing. The plays were there, the OC can't step on the field and catch the pass for them OR put more air under the ball.

I agree with Gas on this.Matter of fact it's been like this,( bad executing ), for the last four games.Remember,this is a young team and their in a learning mode.Don't expect to see the fireworks the last two teams put up.The distict race is going to be a dog fight to the end.

The fact is, people are just plain jealous of the way Coach Moody has come in and revolutionized the LCM program and made it the top one in the district in just three years.    This week will we beat an excellent Houston Kashmere team and then begin our rampage through 22-4A.

First off lcm is improving,but to state their the top one in the district is a streeeeeeeach.

Secondly.Kashmere is not an excellent team so when you beat them,which you should,that want be anything to brag about,but will give the bears something to build on.

After the game kogt talked with Hooks and he ,in a round about way,gave a plug for turf at Hooks Field by refering to the bad condition both teams had to play on,and that's why he always wants to play on turf in the playoffs.He might not have been making a pulg but that's the way I took it. ;D

I think either team is capable of winning this game but I will say the key for the mustangs will be their young defense.How they play will be a huge factor in the outcome.

Well, we finally made it to the first week of the football season. Which game are you going to this week and what are you predictions after a couple of scrimmages?

WO-S will be in the thick of it.I think the more they play the better they will get.If you want to beat them then you'll have to do it early IMO.

Earl is a good choice.Didn't get to see him in high school but we were blessed to be able to see him on the tube in collage and the pros.

Being the first game the O for both teams could be slugish.I'm looking for a low scoring game.Home field gives wo-s the edge they will need.It's early yet so I reserve the right to change my mind befor game day. ;D

Jasper is the hotest team in the state imo.I would be real shocked if they loose.

Not implying the ump was the reason a team won or loss.He was just not consistant with his calls.The reason we lost was just to many errors and our hits ( 7 )were spread over about 5 innings where as bc's 7 were in 1 1/2 innings with runners on base.That's just baseball.Friday is a new day and these kids will give it their all.

I felt for the kids on both sides.The blue behind the plate was all over the place with his calls.I'm sure the batters were as confused as I was westher to layoff a pitch or swing.Hope we don't see him again.

Hands down the 1966 state champs.Wooster was a hoss.

I would call that confidence in your team.Players go into a game thinking they can win.Why do some people have a hard time admitting Wimberley had the better team that night?

I know this is history and the teams are much different but Silsbee jumped up years back and beat us.Then two years ago Huffman did the same thing.Point is it can happen.This is the playoffs and things happen.It's a new season and everyone starts out 0-0.WO-S should win this game and they know they better just focus on Liberty.

I would think if we are going to win state this is our best chance.We will be loosing a lot of talent come graduation.
