2-A Tatum? He had to shoot from behind his head. Their bigs are 6'0".
Hmm- I didn't realize you had seen Tatum play and are therefore able to discuss their height.  Did you watch them play the year they played in the state final as a 3-A team?
 2. Oh yeah?  Soulja, you are nothing but a "dunk-o-meter" freak. ;D
 3.
SteveNash, I'm surprised you do think the dunk theory is true. I tell you what, who cares if HJ dunks. All that matters is the final score 56-59. Something tells me HJ won't miss 20 FT's next game. The pressure is all on the Hawks now.
Anyone with the slightest presence of mind understands just how ludicrous the theory is that a Prudhomme dunk somehow enabled Silsbee to go on its large run.  I agree- all that matters is the final score- I am doubtful that the next game will produce these three items combined or, for that matter, produce any of them at all 1.  HJ  shoots 35% from the free throw line 2.  Silsbee shoots 35% from three point range as a team 3.  A Silsbee player hits another 35-40 foot buzzer beater to win     the game. I suppose Silsbee could possibly shoot 35% again from three point range but the other two(either singularly or collectively) have the same chance of happening again as you do of getting within 6 or 8 strokes of Sleepy or Lazeek in a golf match.
 4. The fact that you believe the "dunk theory" is adequate proof that your prediction is not credible.  My hope is that HJ has multiple dunks and I like what effect I believe they will create.

 6.
Blue is the type of person who, if Nederland won state, would say,"I bet they don't repeat." I don't feel we need to impress him. He obviously doesn't know what he is talking about. Let's just keep our heads and proving him wrong. That's the fun of it all.
Are you saying that the Dove is a "glass is half empty" guy?

U crack me up!
I can assure you that TV is one of the most intellectual posters on this board and his "perspective" is certainly an enlightened one.
 8. It is not difficult to find something "wrong" with a post by somebody else if one wishes to find something wrong.  It is not difficult to find something "wrong" with a team or player if someone wishes to find something wrong.  Soulja declared that he enjoyed the post and therefore it served its purpose.

Royal took King right out of their up tempo run and gun style. You need to be able to play in some type of a half court game to beat them. or hit alot of 3s to beat them like cy ridge.
That's how we lost to them. We had an off night from 3-land.
Everybody has an off-night ;)
With the 'blue and yellow' are U suggesting Ozen was 'off' last night?
When HJ shot so poorly against Silsbee, the answer was that the Silsbee defense was responsible for that so we must assume the same about the Nederland defense, right?
 11. Unrivaled eloquence (Dogs1218- Nobody else has made this remark)
 12. I beg to differ.  The dunk-o-meter is an oft mentioned (by several rather than just me) joke that has been going since HJ first played Central early in the year.  This was intended for the benefit of Soulja who understands my point and, I believe, is not offended by the repetitions.  I must say that it is somewhat gratifying to know that someone is scrutinizing my posts to such an extent.  Additionally, please take note of the fact that, in spite of the very good season that the Hawks are having, I have made no "mop the floor" predictions regarding any of their games or, for that matter, of any others in an attempt to not disrespect any team/players/coaches/communities.

He stated they were big and used their size very well. But he also followed up with the statement that he thought HJ and Silsbee would beat them if they met in the playoffs. HJ and Silsbee would cause Royal problems with their pressure and speed.
All about the match ups
so true.  i spanked blue dove at ping pong last month, even though he had a large height advantage on me.
That's because you had been playing tougher ping pong players than he had before the two of you met.
 17.
So, no talk about how HJ ran the score up,  74-29? C'mon guys! You should have put Nash, LAZEEK, &  POPPA in the game. There is just no excuse >:(
The objective is to keep the fans interested, not to encourage them to leave the gym

 19. Kudos, sir,  for your brilliant conclusion
 20. N-B Dawg made note on this board some time ago about how under recognized Royal was.  He watched them play against Nederland and predicted a very successful season for them
