Both teams have a ton of penalties but a very physical game. Like Daytons 2 tight end formation.

Like I said I wish them the best. I felt exactly the same way a couple of years ago about this group of seniors.

I for one hope the JV success translates into a great varsity squad.

The group of seniors this year were 9-1 as JV. That's with 1 lineman that was brought up to varsity as a freshman and started against Brenham in the 2nd round. Also had a kid as a sophomore on the line that was a 2 time first team all district player up to this year. Not to mention Jalen Styner who played maybe 1 game on JV and was Daytons first 1000 yd rusher since 2009. Jalen was also one of DC 2 money players in the state.I think in total about 5-6 kids never really even played JV ball on this senior squad. Not to mention the addition of Lagarius Mcquirter. So I guess what I'm saying is this team was supposed to be good. Combined freshman and jv they were 18-2.

What was Hutto's enrollment? Thought they were pretty small school.

Well we should have great weather for the game tomorrow night. I'm really hoping to see more than the 300 or 400 people we had at the BH game. Just hope the kids play hard and find a way to win this game.

I think CC Calhoun has suffered more than anyone. They had to play Ridgepoint in the first round last year and have about 500 kids less than Crosby. Granite they were tied with Ridgepoint with less than 2 minutes to go but they still had to play a team with around twice the enrollment. Come to think of it Crosby probably had the highest enrollment of any team they played in 2014 when they won the region.

I just know I will be there and cheering on the kids.

I know Dayton doesn't have a player that was even thought of being born the last time they missed the playoffs. Right now though we are sitting a solid 7th place. One game ahead of KP and Caney Creek.

Yeah I just feel for the kids that go to practice everyday and are trying. Anyway on to Porter. As for BH congrats on the win. The enthusiasm that coach has brought in showed on the field and stands. Couple of move ins and another year under his system and BH will be well on their way to big things.

This was 19 minutes before kickoff. Maybe another 50 people showed up. Sure miss those packed house games.

Only before Stew left. Since 2011 when Stew left we are 4-2 against BH with 2 of those wins by 7pts or less.
