One poster was quick to say we needed a head coach change after the Splendora loss.
-
Sure didn't but I don't claim to be the most informed poster on the planet. Also after the game I gave Splendora all the credit on the win no talk of injuries from me.
-
Not sure how he missed this with all that film he watches.
-
Your a class act and a good fan. High school football can be so unpredictable.
-
Wow.
-
Thx for the semi endorsement. Lol. Seriously though nothing better than Friday night football and I can honestly say this to you in particular good luck Friday and I hope both Dayton and Crosby will be playing good ball when they meet up later in the year. As for this Friday I will always roll with the Broncos and think they will beat Humble.
-
Good luck to your son. Time is something you can't get back and I hope he has a great year.
-
We are 3 games into his first season man. Nobody knows how anything is going to workout yet. Just you don't worry your sweet little head over the strength of the district cause God knows that's the only reason you worry about Dayton all the time. Good luck to Crosby and I will leave it at that.
-
Come on man. I've listened to you go on and on but damn it's 3 games into his first season. Of course all Dayton fans want the team to look better just not sure why your so concerned.
-
Still a few kids hurt but IMO coaches are making some really nice adjustments to personnel this week.
-
Kids good. Has good vision and really surprising speed. I thought his line did an excellent job also. I think he breaks 2000 yds easy if he stays healthy. Other than Crosby and NC I think this kid could have several more big games. Not 350+ good but wouldn't be shocked if he had a couple more 200 yd games.

West Orange-Stark 55 Bridge City 0/FINAL

Damn WOS now I know I'm being a little unrealistic but it would be cool to shut out everybody left. Emphasis on a little unrealistic. Congrats on another win and y'all are some bad boys over there. -
Quit being nice. Lol. Dayton has some major decisions to make personnel wise. All I can do is enjoy the rest of the ride this year. Next year I will be back to just cheering on kids in my town not my kid. Still nothing like high school football win or lose. Even though I wish it wasn't against my Broncos I was happy for Splendora. I'm sure that win was huge for those kids. I was actually shocked at how physical and good they were. Had a receiver about 6"5 with nice hands that had some big catches.
-
That kid is nice! Good speed and runs hard and slippery as heck. Having said that he wasn't the only one rolling off nice gains on the ground against my ole Bronx. Splendora looked prepared and really took it to us. The score was way closer than the game IMO. Dayton was dominated on both lines of scrimmage and once again I will say Splendora deserves all the respect in the world for that win. On another note congrats to NC they seem to be rolling.
-
All you have to do is go look at the scoreboard at the field. It's still on.
-
Seriously I hope the kids and coaches can get it together and at least play respectable ball. From the top to the bottom its time to see who wants to put in work. You play how you practice and I will leave it at that. Good luck next week Bronx.
-
This is literally not a joke. The hardest hit Dayton laid on anybody all night was on a dazzler when they ran out of the tunnel. Hope she is ok.
-
Kid was putting in work on us tonight.
-
He played receiver last year. My buddy from Splendora sat right next to me and he was pumped. Lol. Congrats to Splendora. They plain and simple out coached and out played us. I could throw in my 2 cents but I'm just trying to enjoy my kids last year.

26-14 Splendora. Ball game. 3:52 left

Splendora Wildcats vs. Dayton Broncos
bronco pride replied to Bronco94's topic in High School Football
I hate Michael being out for any time especially his senior year. Really nice kid. Having said that Daytons 3techs in the past had to be fast. Dayton used to not worry about size at that position they wanted a kid that could come off the ball. The kid who will most likely hold down his spot can fly and I'm thinking he will do just fine. -
Splendora Wildcats vs. Dayton Broncos

I would say Dayton by a comfortable margin. -
Wow this thread is getting a little long. No doubt this is our districts biggest game Friday between 2 playoff bound teams. It will be interesting to see how this game plays out and I would definitely be there if it wasn't for the Broncos playing the same night. No predictions from me. I wouldn't put my house on either team in this game I just hope it's a good clean injury free game.

Regardless of the outcome of this game it is obvious that BH made a great hire and is heading in the right direction. BH will only get better as the season goes on and I think worst case scenario they win 7 games and make the playoffs. Also the numbers they are putting up the first couple games are impressive no matter what you think about the competition. Could have easily dropped 60+ on Santa Fe.

Who is that receiver for Ned I believe #6?That kid is fast. Kid lived behind our secondary all game. Dayton got lucky on some overthrown balls. Kid seems like a real homerun threat.
