Its funny how you say Cody and AJ would have been stars anywhere and your exactly right. Then I look at a kid like Ripp who wasn't recruited and he has a Sugar Bowl ring and a NFL career with Green Bay. So maybe sometimes coaches can make a difference because somehow this kid was totally overlooked and had to walk on.

I agree 100%. That same coach from Crosby was the biggest reason a couple of players from Dayton got the JUCO opportunities they did last year. He seems like a great guy who goes out of his way for the kids.

There was a reason Dayton was getting players signed and now he is gone. You think it's a coincidence that all the sudden when Crosby gets there new coach tons of kids start getting looks. Heck your coaches tweet more than a teenage girl and I don't mean that in a bad way. I'm glad you brought up the 8th grade score like it matters. But since you did those same 8th graders beat Crosby 40-0 in the 7th grade. You keep talking like RP was some monster. Heck they struggled with every team in the playoffs except Crosby. I think their largest margin of victory except for that Crosby blow was a 7pt win over a low enrollment talent deplited PLC team. #2 team in the state. I used to laugh every time I had to hear that crap. Thank God high school has playoffs otherwise I might have had to watch CP beat Crosby by 50.

If so then they got a coach that was the OC when Dayton had 14 playoff wins over 4 years from 2007-2010. That was a nice stretch. Now if Dayton can put the D back in defense things should start to click.

Not immediately and maybe not that successful but yes I expect BH to be a very good team before long. Katy is actually a pretty affluent area so not sure why you chose them. Not to mention they have one of the best coaches in the state. I will give you NS but 2 titles in school history with the talent that has come through there isn't much to brag about. I mean if enrollment and 4 and 5 star recruites is the X factor then NS should have about 10 titles.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm assuming he or she missed the previous post. Like you said I would never try say anything about BH facilities. They are very nice. Heck I think they even have a fishing team now. Lol

Kids will definitely come. Indoor practice facility and probably a coach on par with Joseph. Next few years should be very interesting.

So Flannigan got a better job than the one in Crosby great. Maybe if Hancock doesn't land this job he will be better off.

He isn't being fired and I would argue if he doesn't get the new position it wouldn't simply be for his wins and losses. Wait a minute wasn't Flannigan let go with basically the same record or better over his last 5 years. Looks like Flannigan had a 3rd round 2nd round district championship and made the playoffs his last 5 years. Why didn't Crosby keep him.

I never would call 11-1 a bad year but yes Crosby was very over rated. Crosby had the best team in our little area but being ranked 2nd in the state was not warranted. I said the same thing about Dayton in 2012 when they were ranked 4th going into that SC beat down at home. I actually think 11-1 is a great year but in your own words this year was title or bust. So I guess 11-1 is bust then. There's so much you don't know but whatever.

How come you wouldn't have to apply for a job you never held? This will be an AD/HC job. Any way I completely agree with you it's time to move on. Be good for both sides IMO.

Like I said if you honestly believe they are even in the same conversation as far as head coaches that explains a lot of your posts. It's nice to see your level of concern in were the Dayton program is headed in the future though.
