I know this isn't my teams district but dang I hear the same thing every year and every year Ned does their thing. I don't see Ned finishing out of the top 2. I will say PAM does make it very interesting. 22 5a will be a much more competitive district than Daytons without a doubt.

Believe me I was there pulling for WOS and was shocked at how good Wimberley was. WOS had some serious talent on that team. That big rb for Wimberley was tough.

Why would you need black athletes just to compete in SETX and no where else? I think it speaks more to the demographics of SETX in general.

Although not a setx team Wimberley has 2 titles since 05 and is just about always top 10 state wide. Watched them play a really good WOS team in 05 and just pounded them.

Very impressive. Probably the nicest facilities around and an excellent coach to go with them. BH is a far cry from the rice farming small town I grew up knowing.

Brady is a beast but those edge rushers for Denver are just nasty. How bout Philpps dialing up that D. PNG homer. I'm sure Brady sleeps fine at night with 4 rings and a super model for a wife. Another lock hall of famer.

Exactly right. Fact is Cam had two huge turnovers one for td and the other one lead to the game clincher. Manning was just along for the ride at this point in his career. Now he has 2 rings and was already a lock for the hall of fame with every passing record you can imagine. Cam be having nightmares about Miller tonight.

Miller dabbing his way all the way to a championship and mvp. Cam looked average with that Bronco D swarming. Guess we all see why Brady looked scared a couple weeks ago.

I guess your idea of success exceeds mine. The teams you are talking about lost razor close games in the state championship. Argyle had 12 men on the field coming off 2 consecutive timeouts which put LeVega in position for the go ahead score. Argyle played for the title 2 years in a row which is pretty good. Westlake took a NS team to overtime without their all time leading receiver in school history. Westlake also had more yards and first downs and had a chip shot field goal to win in regulation but didn't cash in. GR had a great team with the largest enrollment in 5a and a offensive line that was the best I had seen.

Other than the Celina game the other 2 you mentioned could have easily gone the other way. Scoreboard doesn't lie though and a win is a win. Still think if Klubnik played NS losses in regulation. Also Bryan Erwin LM head coach in the mid 2000's while blessed with talent was an excellent coach. He actually was paid more than Todd Dodge in 2005 and I still can't figure out how LM paid that with their financial issues. Funny how that coincides with their last championship in 06 I believe.

If your going to bring up LM please don't leave out Stephenville. Please don't bring up Friendswood because Dayton hasn't beat them in 20+ years and it brings back bad memories. I haven't looked it up but I'm curious what Friendswoods record is against Manvel and Dawson. I know they went to back to back semis and just like everyone else got drummed by LT. Never mind just looked Friendswood has a winning record against Manvel and Dawson.

Oh well I'm a Hardin fan as I have family friends who have lived their the last 30+ years. So best of luck to the Hornets. Also I happen to live in one of the most diverse city's on the planet and love it. PS. Best move NC made was hiring a coach from St Pius that had a stud of a son to qb for them. Interesting to see how good they are this year without Ware.

LT Austin Westlake Cedar Park Argyle just to add to your list. Not to mention Dayton hasn't exactly owned BH since Stewart left. Lost to them in 2011 and in 2013 had to score on a 4th and goal with no time left to beat them at Dayton. Not to mention the 2012 game where Dayton had a botched qb sneak that gave them a huge 13-6 victory. But I still ask if athletes is all you need then Humble should be 4-0 instead of 0-4 against BH. Heck BH has a better record against Humble than Dayton since we have been in the same districts. Oh well it was just a question and at least you gave an honest opinion.

Sounds very simplistic. Wonder why BH has owned Humble the last 4 years.
