Wow!! Amarillo Referees. Jesus. That's going outside the district for sure.

Big changes as well as unknowns this year. WOS bringing back a solid team that played well above expectations last year, but lost two key starting pitchers. BC losing arguably one of the best players in the area and even bigger part of their 1-2 punch pitching combo. Still it is BC and they always reload. Silsbee has back loaded JR/SOPH squad but has deep pitching and if they can hit as well as fill the catchers pos they will be hard to outlast thru district. But, hands down my money is on the LCM squad that is SR loaded and prob had some of the worst luck last year in games. If they can clean it up, district should be theirs. Not to be outdone are the rest but they seem to be thin in all areas but I will defer to those with more info.

I guess I'll say it again. No matter where it started it has stuck. It's one heck of a catch phrase. Past acknowledged. The only way our kids stay behind and not learn from "past" mistakes is if we hold them accountable, support them after those mistakes are paid for and no matter what we can not abandon them to those influences. We all grow up regardless. Whether or not we become a success in life depends on what was instilled in us as important and not fashionable. That's how I dress things up.

Silsbee is old school in a lot of ways. LOL! Our style (Traditional Band, etc..) is the topic of many conversations where I work.
