We all know the only reasonthey dont have hone games is teams only will play the juggernaut GCCISD schools on home turf. Every advantage helps. Lol

I guess it will only affect them hosting playoff games. Some schools bring the whole town like PNG and Nederland. Parking becomes an issue then. Lol

The area around the stadium is also be converted into the new bus facility. Lots of cosmetics left. Parking is not as abundant as it once was. Pretty much half the east side of the stadium has been devoted to buses. They may have included that factor into the schedule cause we all know an 8 month project is really 12 months. Lol

Port Arthur Memorial vs Fort Bend Bush Now I will pay for that ticket! A La Porte vs Fort Bend Bush III makes me un easy.  In all honesty, FB Bush had us for 11 of the 12 rounds in last year's Area round.  I hope someone else gets a piece of that up and coming program. And a very exciting match up would be PAM (without the district title ;D ).

That's a smart hire by Liberty.  We all know that those associated with La Porte know how to win.

[/quote] I do believe there is a pinch of something extra because when we do play Katy it is a "win or go home" game.  So it has emotional and backstory significance: play offs, traditional powerhouse vs up-and-comer, West Greater Houston vs East Greater Houston, high expectations, payback vs consistancy. I'm simply excited and can't wait to go.

My heart screams LA PORTE, on paper Katy has it.  I won't make a unbiased prediction because there is a certain katy poster that I won't give that pleasure to my LP homer says La PORTE wins (by ANY means neccessary :-X)

LP Is listed for area, thanks! :) Also, why are the capsules no longer being done. I used those to help me pick the games of teams I'm less familiar with. In short, I miss them.

6man ball is fun!  It is true that the most athletic team wins and the Best athlete should play "QB".  In 6Man ball a player is asked to be a Resaissance " player: Solid blocking, tackling, catching, passing, coverage, d-line techniques.  Really let's you see where you are as a coach teaching overall skills. :D

2nd week in a row that La Porte got no love in the playoff schedule. We didn't get a capsule for the bi-district round :-[  La Porte, North Shore, and ( ::) ) Deer Park still repping 21-5A (so that means our brothers of Port Arthur Memorial, Beaumont West Brook, and Channelview are representing too).  Please, can La Porte come out of the 'doghouse' (see what I did there ;) )

I honestly believe Bush will hang with LP for 3 Quarters, with leads going back and forth.  LP will return a turnover for 6 in the 4th and that'll be the end with LP tacking on 10 move for a 38-24 victory.

Any film on Bush from this year?

Our defense struggled with Memorials 3-in-1 plays. Run the Jet Sweep and if that's not there QB keeps it and if the run is not there than hit the backside  block -and- release.  Also our CB man on man coverage was off. Too many times the DB miss timed or just completly didn't challenge the pass and Memorial hit big passes.  Again, anytime you incorporate "multiple read" plays into your offense its going to give LP's defense of scheme fits.  What's most important is the boys kept playing and they made the great plays when neded. That forced fumble with 24 seconds left was clutch right before the half. And the Blocked FG with 5mins remaining...clutch. the very next play was a 70+ TD run to make a 22-21 lead a 29-21 LP victory. Good luck to my Bulldogs in the next round.

If Creek wins then it may be at Pasadena or Deer Park but if Bush wins and gets choose of location they'll probably make us travle to their side of town.
