Honestly in the last 20 years it has rarely been a good game. there was a long period of Dayton dominance in the series and now there has been a long period of Crosby dominance in the series. i guess a few years of competitive games but not that many.

I think Dayton has improved but will run into a buzzsaw. 49-7

After craping on PAM and specific PAM posters for a couple weeks, I’ll say this. if PAM could develop any level of consistency in just getting first downs they will be a scary scary offense. that defense has some holes right in the center of that front 7 and that’s not going to be good against teams that like to run the ball. that being said I hope y’all resolve those issues and blow everyone out in your districts and make a deep state run.

I disagree. Had Marshall from Marshall not gotten himself tossed for being an idiot we very well may have lost that game. Kid was absolutely unguardable.

It actually bodes well for any team that comes out as the 2 seed from our district. It means you might have a path to the fourth round that doesn’t have a real shot at a state title. you’ll play an HISD school, then likely Marshall or Texas High, then the winner of a weak district.

TBH I think Huntsville and Texas High really prepared us for FB Marshall. Nothing they did or could do surprised us and we knew how to beat big strong teams.

Seems like Huntsville district might be weaker than normal. Huntsville gets mailed by CE King and A&M Cons. Loses to Willis same week.

This isn't a stretch. It's likely our division winner plays FB-Marshall in Round 3. Our #2 is going to get thrashed by A&M Consolidated or Huntsville in the 3rd. So I think we get one team into the third round and any other team will need to beat either FB Marshall, A&M Consolidated or Huntsville to make the 3rd round. R3 is stacked.

BH - Paetow + PAM = solid start to year Crosby - Manvel, PAM, Carthage = Probably hardest start for team in district Nederland - WOS, and Silsbee? is that the two? I don't think Houston Austin is particularly good. they've yet to play anyone with similar number of students and they struggled a win out of Silsbee. WOS always seems to start the year slow. PNG - I disagree I don't think they've played anyone particularly good. Tomball being the best at 3-0 versus Willis, Houston Nimitz and PNG not sure we can gather how good Tomball is from those three games but i suspect they are a solid football team this year. United has looked terrible this year, and Jasper is a moderately good team two divisions lower. I'll take a WOS win or even a close game with Carthage over a Jasper win. Texas City has beat two 6A programs Lake and Brook as well as GBALL. Honestly I think they've had the most impressive preseason of any team in the district. I still feel the Bottom 3 are a ways away from the rest but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Nah, but I think we beat BH by more than we beat PAM. 21 point would be my spread. I don't think BH offense is as good as yall are pretending because PAM's defense was pretty porous and we dominated on the ground against them.

I think the team that lost by 28 to the same opponent that the other team beat by 15 is better. I mean 43 point difference against same opponent one week apart totally means nothing.

1-2 The pollsters don't really care who or how you lose to people. If we had not let Carthage off the hook then we would likely be ranked right now. So... shows you have little rankings matter.

I think this is like 14-13 and decided by a bad kick snap or a coaches decision to go for 2.
