Cougars were All Gas no brakes!

It’s likely just going to add complexity to a snapper/center, and even if you practice game time execution versus practice execution. it’s a choice do you spend time on QB/C snapping the ball in a corner for 10 minutes a practice for one play or do you have the QB throw 20 more routes, or the center get 20 more shotgun snaps. everything is an opportunity cost because you have practice time limits.

But more than practice good coaching. The defensive ends weren’t giving up outside contain, the linebackers were coming straight up the middle, and the spai was always mirroring. Well executed game plans have been why the defense has been so solid.

Extra practice time is always going to help. For instance Miles last year would have been running the scout team and second team reps. He got a bunch of extra time, Jones as well. Those two figure to be very important. our top 2 wide receivers this year both got all those extra first team reps including game reps. more football always helps.

Figure we all got a week to sit and not watch football so what are your thoughts now that non-district has been completed. Crosby BH Texas City Nederland PNG Dayton KWP Santa Fe Are my predictions. I think mid county madness determines a playoff spot this year.
