Whoever is coaching that D-line is doing a good job but the offensive execution and lack of tackling from defensive backs.
-
Crosby is in trouble in this one. We need a complete attitude adjustment in this one.
-
Not taking anything away from Dayton well coached team with a great player but Jesus Crosby looks atrocious.
-
True Dayton should be winning by 14+
-
I must be rusty on my offsides rules because that was clearly a false start
-
What's the score 21-21, 21-20, or 21-14?
-
Just bad football you get a turnover on the 31 do nothing with it then give up a 75 yard play before the end of the half. Popwarner stuff
-
Just giving it away at this point. !!:21-14-2 he stepped out but the ref didn't see it so guess that's how it goes.
-
For sure honestly a bad taste in my mouth my towns being represented like that. They need to get it together.
-
6 personal fouls on that play three each and seems like some ejections may have occured but unclear.
-
We'll never want to see that some punches thrown by both sides.
-
!!:14-14-2 Crosby just gave a TD away with two 15 yard penalties.
-
They just now put the scoreboard up lol
-
!7-14-2

According to who?

I believe the Starting RB is Joshua Jackson got good wiggle, but he is not Yarborough.

Honestly, not sure what to think about this one. On the one hand seems Crosby torched Lee in the Scrimmage, on the other hand we lost to the Broncos last year and had an extremely hard time scoring all year. We know Coach P from Dayton will have something for the Cougars and given his coaching they are likely trying to jump out early and then grind it out, but the Cougars cannot let that happen. Think this is a close win by Dayton or a blowout by the much larger school (400+ students). We will see but that seats going to be on fire if Crosby loses this one. Hoping for a big day for the Cougars, with cautious optimism.

We will see the buzz is not making it out the hive with this team. Maybe that means they circled the wagons, or maybe something else but I have never in 20+ years as a cougar fan heard less about a team before they played than this year. Coaches aren't promoting the team, kids, aren't and the usual suspects are a bit MIA. There also have been some prominent move outs (apparently), but also seems like some kids have returned to Crosby that had been elsewhere so we will see.

Crosby doesn't have a bad schedule. Iowa Colony FB Marshall La Porte Angleton Given that's a regional finals rematch and two 5ad2 teams that did very well last season.

Well given how horrid our QB play was last year that sounds great. -
additive you darn sure better beat Dayton this year...
-
This year is going to be interesting because La Porte are clearly the expected DC, and Angleton definitely expected to end 2nd. Everyone else is kind of a who knows at this point. We will see what the coaching staff can get out of our players this year, we are officially in put up or shut up territory with this coaching staff as many fans of the team are not particularly pleased with the style of play nor the results of the last two years. Crosby has too many talented kids for the excuses that came from this coaching staff last year. We will obviously see because the QB situation has to get better than it was last year, and if we continue to play QB by committee I know a couple of our older fans might have heart attacks in the stands.

That's fair no ones replacing him or that middle linebacker sad we wasted a lot of that potential.
-
Those are some mighty big boots to fill.

What are we even going to look like without Yarbrough next year. I do not mean to say we cannot be good without him but he was literally the entire offense last year. I would hope we might develop a little more diverse offense this offseason but pretty worried about my Alma Mater coming into the year. Have either of the QB's developed into the clear #1, and receivers developed or broke out in spring ball? Just a displaced cougar wondering about the ball team.
