  1. "A two-team tie is broken based on how those teams fared against each other. Nederland beat LC-M and PN-G and would advance if in a two-team tie with either team.

Three- and four-team ties are broken based on the point differential of each game involving the tied teams. There is a differential limit of 18 points placed on each game, which means LC-M's 42-0 victory over PN-G officially counts as an 18-point game when breaking three- and four-team ties.

Although Nederland beat LC-M and PN-G this season, LC-M gets the playoff nod in a three-team tie because its plus-15 point differential against Nederland and PN-G is the best among those teams. Nederland's point margin is plus-10, and PN-G's minus-25.

Added to the mix could be Vidor, which holds a 2-4 district record. The Pirates qualify for the playoffs only if they beat LC-M by nine or more points and if Nederland and PN-G lose.

PN-G can only advance with a victory over Dayton, which is undefeated through six district games, and with losses by Nederland and LC-M. "

  2. Go Dogs 27 you have to be one of the cockiest people I have ever heard speak. You go on and on about how Vidor only worries about Ned and how that is their Superbowl. The fact is that Vidor is a better team than Ned is this year no doubt. You have one legit player in Mosley and the rest of the team is below average. Ned probably has one of the worst defenses in the area and without Mosley what would you do? I say Lumberton comes in and beats you at home because they can throw and you can't defend. Vidor beats LCM by 10 and Vidor goes to the playoffs.

WOW is all I can say..... Ned and Vidor get in a squabble and NED gets the flag hahahahahah that has to be a first

  3. LC-M 24

    Vidor 14

I think this will be a hard fought game' date=' but I think LC-M is just a tad bit better on both sides of the ball.[/quote']

I think it all falls on Vidor .... If it is the team that showed up against Ned then Vidor wins if its the team that showed up against Dayton then we will be getting ready for Basketball.....

  4. LSU at Tennessee

    Tulsa at Houston

    Missouri at Nebraska

Georgia Tech at North Carolina State

    UCLA at California

Rice at UTEP ...... If this was baseball it would be Rice

Arkansas at South Carolina .... this will be a pride win and a huge one at that, Ark is gonna really be hurting Sunday morning

  5. Man to see 3 super football games in Vidor vs Ned, Lumberton, and Central was just awesome. These kids have real heart and dont be too suprised to what comes of this team the rest of the season and on to next year we will have some great returners and some good ones moving up. We had them with 59 ticks on the clock and just couldnt get a handle on #5 Williams. That guy can is big fast and hits like an out of control mack truck. With 12 secs left in the game he faked it inside and cut off tackle over the right side and ran over a few tacklers to get in the endzone. The kid just refused to lose!! Vidor again played a hell of a game and came up short. Keep your head up guys as hard as you have fought against Lumberton and Central to end up losing the game shows that you have a good deal of pride and good things will come to you keep up the fight!!!!

  6. I will have to say from a pirate fan those have to be 2 of the best damn games i have seen back to back in a good while on friday nights. Lumberton gave us all we wanted and we did the same to them. both teams made costly mistakes in crucial parts of the games and the refs did blow some calls on both sides of the ball but as far as hard hitting and some bone crushing plays they were several hand fulls. one that sticks out in my mind is when Devan Dart did a perfect form tackle on a raider and drove him into the ground. my hat is off to both teams again this week we just came up about 4 yards short 2 diff times inside the 5 on fumbles those hurt......

Good Luck next week Pirates and to yall Raiders...

If all scores I have seen are correct this is how 20-4a looks:

    Central 2-0

    Dayton 2-0

    Lumberton 1-1

    Vidor 1-1

    LCM 1-1

    PNG 1-1

    Ned 0-2

    Ozen 0-2

    Man what a race................

  7. That is the only thing I can say about a very well played, hard hitting football game. I will have to say that I was very worried about Mosley and us stopping him after the #'s he and the Dogs have been putting up. This win will help our team for the rest of the year. This showed our guys that we can come back against a very good football team and prevail a winner. Good game dogs and best of luck to you the rest of the season. I hope that Mosley is not hurt to bad. We beat on him all night.
