I could care less who gets to play or doesn't get to play for Evadale. I'M NOT SAD because a player transferred from her high school...didn't move from the house/town she lived in...and people are complaining that she doesn't get to play varsity athletics at the school she transfered to.  THAT'S AGAINST THE RULES

That will be funny haha..  HD will go 1-9 and be a playoff team.  Colmesneil is the the only game on that schedule HD will win...maybe.. What a joke...UIL sure makes me wonder sometimes.

1.  Why would it even be considered?  A warmup game to supposed to get the "team" prepared for a playoff game...she cant play in the playoffs so why let her take somebody's minutes during a warmup game. 2.  The situation is not sad at all...there is a reason that rules are put into place.  Had  the rules been followed she would have gotten to play her Sr season.

Missing the playoffs by going 4-6 and losing big to West Hardin, a team we have dominated forever. But let's not panic, H-D usually contends for the District Title and goes to the playoffs every year. Last season Chisholm Marberry, Tyler Drake and Chris Taylor were 3 of the top players in district. Heck I can think of lots of good players in just the last few years. The talent is here, we just need kids on the field, not playing playstation at home because they don't get along with the Coaches. We did not field a JV for the first time ever last season. Parents are letting their kids be lazy and not play sports, Coaches and players not getting along so the players quit. The stands are full every friday night across Texas with kids that should be on the football field. [/quote] You're so blinded by history.  How can you possibly say there is still talent there?  None of those kids you mentioned have ever experienced better than a 3rd place finish...out of 5.  None of those kids have ever beaten a "good" team.  Yeah I know that they didn't field a JV...but I've heard about how HD's junior high has done last couple of years.  Talent's gone pal.  There's no way any kids walking the halls at HD would've made the outcome of this year any different.

Should be good.  Hardin's not real deep but the 1st 5 is solid.  Buna's also solid.  I'll say they split.

Schools are not recognized unless the stats are posted on maxpreps.com.  Coaches that do not update information on that site will not have their school on the rankings.

The game was over with 4 mins to go...Anahuac was up about 30 at this point.  The Daisetta coach put in bench players and Anahuac did not, and kept pressing until the game ended.  The officials were horrible, but  it's a shame that the score does not indicate that it was even a game.  Good luck to Anahuac having success doing that to Hardin, EC, Buna, etc...

where does she live?  just wondering why she isn't playing yet.  if she lives in the district....what's the hold up.  if she doesn't, she shouldn't become eligible this year

Burkeville won state in 2000.  Are they a powerhouse today?... The point is the past means absolutely nothing.  I think that just because HD consistently makes the playoffs does NOT mean they have a rich history of winning.  They made the playoffs last year as a 5-5 team.  Average.  Then got destroyed 1st round making them 5-6.  Below average.  Same thing the year before. Consistenly making the playoffs in a weak district just means that you have a history of winning in that district.  HD was beat by Iola this year and Iola doesnt have a chance of making the playoffs.  What does that tell you?..
