I said Louisanna teams would beat Texas teams didnt say Aledo, Duncanville or SOC i agree the elite texas teams would win. I also was counting private schools going against public.

Edna Karr (New Orleans) ranked 25th in the nation they would beat some. John Curtis and Ruston. Texas is larger so yes there would be more teams. But to say louisanna could not beat a Texas team i dont know about that.

I agree, im not pro spread there is just alot other offenses out there than thr slot t. I mean local teams have seen that offense for the last 20 plus years. I wonder if they just give the same ole offense playbook out every year.

Yes i dont think a Air Raid would be a type of offense vidor needs. Silsbee doesnt throw 30 times a game. But i do believe spread the defense out and give the kids some options.

I think its a case by case situation. Some teams have the athletes to run it just like the spread. I think the vidor folks are ready to see a different type offense, and you cant blame them. Them and Lumberton were in the top losing programs in the state.

The qb has a decent arm and they have a shifty running back. A spread offense probably would help them even if they didnt throw much out of it. Spreading the defense is the key imo

If Nederland is a heavy run team i like our chances. We struggle defending the pass. Silsbee will also have to clean up turnovers and penalties

Silsbee won last 27-13 and yall won the DC. Silsbee was a younger group last year. Only chance of moving the ball imo will be in the air the secondary is young. The front 8 is solid and Johnson is a load take down.
