That might be true due to transfers but I think strategy wise he is the man. Not knocking Hickman it’s hard to keep a good group of kids on the prize, and he got thrown in a job with extreme high expectations.

So with CT the last 4 years gave up 32 points to Fannett with a 4-0 wins. Hickman gave up 95 points and is 1-3 against them. Let me guess you’re going to use the cop out and say it was the drop in the talent at WOS.. The point is CT is a better defensive coach.

You are right but was defense better those years? Was the HF and Silsbee games close during district? Or did they dominate those games? I think it’s the way WOS plays now that people don’t like. WOS was known for defense and not given up 20 points to Fannett.
