Crosby finishes off a struggling opponent the way you’re supposed to going into the playoffs. Crosby puts up their first 50 point game under the new staff as well as their first 600 yard output. I’m not certain but I also believe this is our first turnover free game this season and the least pre-snap penalties we’ve had all year. It’s how you want to look at the end of the season, even if it’s only for one more week.

Solid stat line for the transfer qb making his 4th start:

    15-22, 265 yards and 3tds/13 carries for 126 yards and 2tds

    He’s back!

  2. I haven't made it out to see Crosby yet. The past few weeks the talk was how good Crosby's defense is (was) and that their secondary was great. Can someone explain what happened to their defense? Was it injuries or are they just not near as good as thought to be? And, I think it was 14.2 that stated the off the field problems got in the way. I'm assuming it was all the kneeling vs. standing for the National Anthem. Has this caused division on the team? Has Riordan lost the ship? Or maybe it's just that Porter is way better than thought, but I highly suspect that is not the reason. Anyone have opinions on my questions?

  4. I had a discussion with a buddy at work today and I told him how much I think a good coach can make. His counter point was you have to have the talent. My counter point was a good coach puts the right people in the right places and coaches good fundamentals and that it can overcome the lack of talent. I'm seeing it so far with BH. Well not seeing it in person but. Crosby better be ready next week. Go Coogs!

  5. FB06, I know you think your representing Crosby well but you're not. When Dayton had their run I used to hate some of the crap they would post and felt as if everyone in Dayton was a jerk, which of course wasn't the case. You're doing the same. I don't expect you to pull the reigns back but my recommendation would keep it on the positive side or the funny side. That's all I'll say.
  6. First time out seeing Crosby this year. No doubt they have some size and talent. Was a little confused by their play selections. And their clock management was terrible. Don't won't to judge by one game, but if they don't play to their strengths in the play calling and clock management better, they will be done next week. Got to play smart from this point on, on the field, on the sidelines and in the box. They definitely bring the wood. Started feeling sorry for the Ozen QB. He was taking some shots in the second half. Good luck to the Coogs.
