  1. With the great play of Brown in the two scrim. games, I say you have to start him.  But who do you put on the bench.

Before the scrim. games I would have said:

    1- dawkins

    2- hopkins

    3- barrow/todd

    4- sanders

    5- nwevo

    but would this work:

    1- dawkins

    2- hopkins

    3- brown

    4- sanders

    5- nwevo

"Brown averaged 29.0 ppg and 8.0 rpg in the two scrimmages. He shot 67.6% (23-34) from the field, 55.5% (5-9) from 3-point range and 87.5 (7-8) from the free throw line. "

    Can he play the 3????

Man, our bench is going to be DEEP!!!!!!!

  2. As James said earlier, you keep making predictions about Nederland and one day you will be right!  The sad thing is when you are right, you will be the first one on here saying "I told you so".  Why can't you come on here and do the opposite when your predictions about Nederland are wrong.  Which is most of the time!!!

  3. I know WB deserves to be in the top ten, but are they included in this poll beause they play in a "houston area" district.  Dayton is in because they are considered "houston area", but why no Central or Nederland.  I think they are not included because they are not "houston area" and don't play in a "houston area" district.  I am I wrong here?

  4. Just saw on tv where Kevin sustained a serious spinal injury in today's game.  For those of you who don't know, he is a local kid from PA TJ.  He plays TE for the Bills.  Keep him and his family in your prayers.

Here is a clip from espn:

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Kevin Everett was in a hospital under observation for a cervical spinal injury after the Buffalo Bills tight end was knocked cold and taken off the field in an ambulance Sunday.

Coach Dick Jauron provided no further update on Everett's status following the Bills 15-14 season-opening loss to Denver. And Jauron wouldn't say whether the player regained consciousness on the field or en route to the hospital.

Everett fell immediately to the ground and showed no signs of consciousness after a helmet-to-helmet hit when he tackled Denver's Domenik Hixon during a kickoff to open the second half. Everett was placed on a backboard with his head and body immobilized, and carefully loaded into an ambulance at the Broncos 30.

The game was delayed for about 15 minutes, and the Bills gathered at the sideline while doctors attended to the player.

Everett's injury was the most severe, but far from the only one sustained by Bills players during the game.
