Port Arthur News said Nederland @ Angleton was the PAN"s game of the week, I thought PA Memorial was the game of the week? I hope the Nederland game is on TV @ 10:30, does anyone know which game will be televised?

1. Nederland    At least till someone proves other wise 2. Vidor          It's their time to make some noise 3. Ozen          They have been pretty good since midway thru last season 4. Central        They have some athletes if they can get it together 5. Livingston    one stud for sure don't know about the over all team play yet 6. LCM            can they surprise some teams this year 7. PNG            Early district schedule could build some confidence 8. Lumberton    could be a long year I think Nederland and Vidor will stay at the top, #3 thru #7 could all have a shot at the playoffs, not many districts can say that 7 out of 8 teams really have a shot at the playoffs.

I heard the Ned-Vidor JV game in Vidor was cancelled. Haven't heard about the freshmen Ned-Vidor game to be played in Nederland.

Maybe yall should focus on 2012 and Summer Creek that's coming to the Rez this friday, this ain't fantasy Island, and the plane ain't coming. I'd hate to play for PNG and see all of this DISRESPECT from what is suppost to be the most loyal fan base around.

I thought this thread was about the rankings?  Nederland and Vidor get their chance at each other in a few weeks. Personally if I was a Vidor fan I would want Ned ranked as high as possible, when was the last time Vidor had a ranked opponant in their house and really had a good shot at beating them, I would be hoping Nederland beats Angleton and comes into Vidor ranked in the top 5 and you'll have a huge opportunity for your team, your coaching staff and your community to prove you belong at the top of 20-4a, good luck this week and we'll see you in a few weeks at the Boneyard.

I wish they had chosen to play in Baytown both years instead of home and home.

Looks like they don't want to talk about Summer Creek at the moment.

Being ranked gets you nothing, you still have to win games on the field. I don't think Nederland is #1 in 4a, and I don't think anyone in nederland thinks this is the #1 team in the state, most people feel like we have a good team and win or lose at Angleton it will not make us state champions or keep us from winning a championship, it's 1 non district game, it doesn't change the goal of winning district and going as deep as we can in the playoffs.
