where did you see the replay at??
channel 6 and channel 12 had the replay, looked like reciever took his eyes off the ball at the last second, tough break for the reciever and very fortunate for WOS. If WOS and Nederland played again in a real game it would still be a toss up, 2 very good defensive teams.

3. I know it's early and offensive timing is not where it needs to be, but Nederland has got to quit throwing the ball sideways, it may work in practice, but it's never worked in a game. Lots of dropped passes and just plain sloppy on offense. The defense is as good as advertised. We need to put the spread in the back of the play book so we can't find anymore.
4. This "game" I mean scrimmage should draw a good crowd at bulldog stadium tonight with PNG being off and them facing WOS in a few weeks and Nederland down the road.
5.
A.J. Smith is 6'5" with a pretty good arm and decent wheels for his size. 4.5 I doubt, but not 5.0 either. What has yet to be determined is his presence in the pocket. Stared down wr in the spring game and showed marginal accuracy, but I know he has worked his tail off over the summer. Yes Lamar has offered so they see potential. There is a Sophomore that has folks excited named Ky Walker as well. He looked good in Spring. Quick on his feet and accurate. Much shorter maybe 5'10".
Thanks for the info, sounds like tools are there, with Fairclothes ability to develope QB's he may prove to be another solid Indian QB for ya'll this year, good luck this year, and for what it's worth I think yall make playoff's once again.
6. I was wondering if someone from PNG could could clear up the QB talk? I'm only asking because I don't know. I've heard from from people that he is not that tall, not that fast and doesn't throw that well, and one poster said he was 6'5'' or 6'6'' and ran a 4.5 40 and has a cannon for an arm, all these comments came from PNG people. I also heard he has already been offered a scholarship to Lamar, not sure if it was to play QB or as an athlete. I know he hasn't played a game yet, so nobody knows how well he will do, jsut wondering about the basics, is he tall, does he run well, is he some what accurate?
7. That GCM - Ned thread was started by GCM, not Big Ned.
8.
I watched the replay on the Ned/Bay City game and the play in question many times. In real time I swore Ned got porked and Joe Ramoin was in the end zone. I didn't have a good angle on the play and he looked like he scored. When I watched the video in slo-mo from a camera on the goal line Ramoins' knee touched with the ball just inches short of the goal line. On the next play from the 6 inch line the call was 30 base, a dive play right to the zero hole. The Bay City defense was a nine man front stacked in the middle to stop the qb sneak. A linebacker jumped the snap count, dove over the center and stuffed the play in the backfield as time expired. A run at any other hole would probably have been a gut cinch score. Ned would have probably won in OT because they had a great kicker. The suspect calls to me in that game by officials were a TD called back on a late holding flag and a field goal called back on a late proceedure call. Ned held Bay City to less than 100 yards of offense that game. The Cats went on to blow out the next two games to win the D1 title. The pass at WO-S that was called a lateral was a blown call. When Hooks was asked about it he smiled and said "Sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes the bear eats you" He was also yelling lateral before the ball ever hit the ground. He was a master at working officials. WO-S and Ned had great teams that year and nearly won D1 and D2 titles the same year.
If I remember correctly Bay City only crossed midfield one time all night and only ran 4 plays on Nederlands side of the field, to their credit, I believe they got a TD on a booteg pass. Bay City was out played all night but Nederland couldn't catch a break and to win a title you have to have some breaks or calls work in your favor.
9. Glad to see they are playing 4 qtrs of game situation, so can you have a winner in a game that is not a game?
10. I hope the coaches will agree to play 2qts of game situation, but alot of the time they stick to just a controlled scrimmage.
11.
First day in pads and the DOGS sound good. Some surprises by underclassmen but the starting D looks awesome and O line looks to be solid as well. Big hits with good speed on the lines. Chris Henry is going to be a force at center really good size and foot speed. Just so pleased with the work and chemistry of this team. GO DOGS
which underclassmen surprised you?
12. I thought the old way was better, 1 super bowl champion. WOS is one of the smallest schools and they compete for titles on a regular basis, I guess Lumberton will finally get a senior super bowl title.
13. This large school - small school, is that something new? I thought senior was senior and you had 2 Lumberton schools and nederland had 2 senior teams, Vidor sometimes has 2 teams and PNG as well, and those schools where in seperate divisions, is it different this year?
14. What PA transfer are you talking about and when did he transfer?
15.
1st  Quarter:  Ned 14  Vidor 3  2nd Quarter:  Ned 24    Vidor 10 3rd  Quarter:  Ned 34  Vidor 10 4th  Quarter:  Ned 41  Vidor 17
Vidor has a pretty good defense and offense wasn't nederland's strength last year, I'm hoping your right, but I think it will be a much closer game and a bit of a defensive battle
16. The 15 yo's play at 1pm today agains Brazosport in an elimination game, if they win they play at 4pm today against the other Brazoswood team and they will have to beat them twice to win the tournament.
17. Have the 15's played a game yet, I heard they where playing at 3 today.
18. 46 all district selections is kind of getting out of hand.
19. It is what it is, you've got good coaches who took the PNG job to furthur their careers and for some it is paying off. The same will happen with Coach Faircloth when the right position opens up, he will take it, my guess is it will take a top notch school in the 4a/5a ranks in DFW or Austin area's to make him go, but he will go and you can't blame him, just appreciate him while you have him.
20. They do every year, but not with pads, Neumann prefers the extra week in August.
21. Does anyone have the district standings as of 3-30 with one game left in the first half.
22.

im trying to get beaumont central football games for the 2012 season
I'm not sure about the order of their district schedule, but here is their predistrict schedule: Week 0 - Memorial Week 1 - West Brook Week 2 - West Orange-Stark I know the WO-S game will be at the Butch, not sure of the venue of the others.
That's a tough non district schedule, Central could be very good and still be 0-3, they will be battle tested when district play starts.
23. WOSgrad any news yet on the schedules, just wondering.
