1.
I can't explain why they do what they do. Call your local director. He has giving his number out for anyone to call,so why don't you call him? We need to all stop bashing each other and just play baseball. Hope it all works out for you and your team. Remember, any question you want answered or have about usssa is just a phone call.
Wait, so you can ask me questions about Nations, but I can't ask you questions about usssa? Maybe you should call Morgan for the answers to your questions. I'm sure you have his number since he was so kind to offer you a "discount"
 2.
VP93 or 2sonsplaying you still took jabs at them and their team. As for yall being suspended, that I don't know, surely you do! Just ask Morgan! Because they suspended both 8 and 11 as if you didnt know. After reading this post and other post it sure looks like you guys have it out for usssa and the vipers. Can you explain why the KIDS are suspended from nations and not just the coaches. I'm sure the kids werent passing out flyers. Also why want you play for the local usssa .
Yeah it looks like the Gladiators have it out for usssa. That would explain why the 11u team was signed up for a usssa tournament this weekend, and 3 more later on as well. I can't explain why the kids are suspended, I don't have any ties to Nations so I can't help you out there. Can you explain why the KIDS from 7 gladiator teams were suspended by usssa, and not just Morgan? Why are any family member of Morgans, parents of the players, and anyone affiliated with Gladiator Baseball suspended from usssa as well? After all their problem is with him, not the COACHES or KIDS of those teams. We have played three tournaments this year, so who's to say my team wouldn't play for usssa locally. Oh that's right, usssa said so.
 3. Oh and remember 2 sons playing said he has an 8 and 10 year old kid.  If that is true, how did his team get suspended by nations, when it was an 11 year old team that I was referring to?
 4.

not many to choose from on a Wednesday afternoon but it appears that the 11U team found an alternative tourney with Nations, so it will all be okay. I suppose they know not to offer its support to USSSA anymore!  Play Ball!
Just remember, NATIONS has done the same thing. You and rounder17 thought it was funny, takeing jabs at 2sonsplaying for the same thing happening to his team. KARMA, it sucks.
First of all I have never taken jabs at 2 sons playing for that, it was VP93. Second, totally different situation. The vipers coach got caught handing out usssa tournament flyers at a nations tournament in Houston, and was escorted out. Therefore, his team got suspended by nations. I can assure you, the Gladiator coach has not been caught doing that. So since you obviously know so much, tell me THE REASON all Gladiator teams got suspended from usssa.

It's been told to local teams, that they will get a discount from (local) nations tournaments and the baseball acdemy, if they don't play in ANY of the (local) usssa tournaments. Fact, its been offered to me and my team. Umpires have been told because they umpire for usssa (local) they want be asked to umpire in nations. Fact, its happen to me also. I only know of one but im sure there are more but it was told to one of the workers who worked for both usssa and nations that if he worked another usssa tournament he would not be used at nations again. So ask yourself who took the high road! I don't agree in the whole kicking out the teams though. Looks like both failed on that part. Kick the coach out not the team!
If you think usssa isn't offering discounts your blind. Go find me some other tournaments that cost $100-$200. As for the workers out there, I don't think Nations or usssa controls who works a concession stand, or on a field. Knucklehead, 11u gladiators did get an e-mail today stating that. That's okay though, they found a Nations event that was full, and Nations bent over backwards to get them in. That's what people who "do it for the kids" do.
No one said concessions stand or on the fields. The workers who go around picking up trash and doing other things. It's obvious you work for Morgan or Coach one of his teams so you should know whats going on.
So those workers don't work for smg? I don't know, that's why I'm asking. Why don't you answer my other question? Why does usssa put on discounted tournaments of a $100, on weekends that nations have tournaments there? Are they trying to run nations out of there? Seems to be the same thing to me.
 6. Also, I bought a truck earlier in the year. One dealership offered me a better deal for the same vehicle, so I chose the better deal. It's called doing what it takes to get your business. Most good businesses do those kind of things.

 8.
Gladiators /Nations-  have  been trying to kill Usssa in Bmt. since it started..... Several times the Nations tournament director in Bmt. has offered my son's team discounts,  if we only play Nations tournaments at Ford Park.  So we are only allowed to play Usssa tournaments in other areas. Also I have a close coworker that is an umpire who was cordially threatened to not work Usssa gamrumores.  Which is ridiculous! ...........Facts not  rumor
Usssa has been trying to kill nations also. Every time nations put on a tournament in Lake Charles last year, usssa went and offered one the same weekend for $100. Tillerys' tournaments are $200. Discount you say? What's the difference? How can you say Gladiators are trying to kill usssa? If I remember correctly, Morgan switched from Usssa to Nations, years ago. I like how they inform me on a Wednesday that we can't play in the tournament we are signed up for this weekend, after telling me Tuesday that we could play. But hey, it's justifiable for anyone that "does it for the kids" right? Look at for the new usssa team named the GT Cobras.

 10. But I thought usssa would never do that? They are "all about the kids", right VP93? Seems usssa has a personal vendetta against Morgan Walker. Why would they suspend all Gladiator teams, when he only coaches 14u? Why would they suspend any FAMILY member of his? Maybe VP93, 2 sons playing, or MJB can help me out and answer some of these question. Is it because usssa isn't thriving in Beaumont?
Doing research to solve argument (now wager) I got into.  Need some help with this.  My argument is that our local area has had over 50 (which equals 51 or more) kids get picked up by professional baseball organizations over the last 20 years.  Don't forget to name school. And keep it within last 20 or they don't help me win. I looked up these and I hope I get some help from you guys to add two more with the year they graduated high school and what team they originally signed with.
First of all I happen to know Ruben, so a little dig about him shouldn't be a big deal so calm down. Second I think it's ridiculous that if a team or the majority of it's players have been playing select tourneys for 3 years that they should be allowed to play at the bottom level of any organization, whether they're "league" players are not. Lastly you act like "league players" aren't good players, I happen to know many of his players and they make "Allstars" every year, they have plenty of experience to be playing up. I didn't take anything away from his players for winning by my comment, I just challenged him to step up a level..what's wrong with that? SMH
So if it takes 3 years to win a tournament as you say, then why shouldn't they be allowed to play at the bottom level?

Great Job Ruben!!!
Congrats to Ruben for finally winning a SELECT Tourney after 3 years of playing down there. Maybe now he can get out of the kiddie pool and come up and play with the big boys  ;)
Do you consider your boys team, "the big boys"?
 14.
Triple play to end the game. Bases juiced with no outs in bottom of 7th. 3-2 final
Wow. Line drive??
 15. What is it with Buna people? Why do they think they always deserve credit for their program? 90% of the arguing on this forum is from Buna. Get over yourselves and play baseball.
umm id say he TOPS at 87-88. He throws hard, but not that hard. Maybe next year. But until then, 92 is but a dream.
So you at the workouts when he does throw low 90's?  ::)
Are we talking about turn and burns here, or low 90's off the mound? If so, I can assure you turn and burns are totally different than throwing low 90's off of a mound.

He got outpitched when he came to Woodville. But maybe he had a bad game.
Out pitched at Woodville? He threw 24 pitches in 3 innings, that was it. And also where did Logan Johnson rank on that list? He had a ton of K's it seemed like.
I believe that it is 135or 136, I may be wrong. 23.
very well said babs and mjb but i think i want to chime just a bit. these simple minded people, knucklehead said that the coach should tell his boys that is not the way you earn it ha! thats funny.. what our coaches did is teach them a lesson that cheaters never win and winners never cheat. he called them on it and it cost his team a chance at a tournament championship. if you expect us to believe that the coaches didnt have a clue what they were doing, well not a chance..  thier the the ones who should be ashamed,  its just unfortunate for them young men on the gladiators that played there butt off for thier coaches in question, that they had to forfit the game.. what a fine example thier setting for them boys, the parents should be proud NOT!! the sad thing is they didnt have cheat they would have won the game without the illegal player. bottom line is we didnt play good enough to win that game,  but the rules are the rules..  i personally know each parent on the prospects team and i think it safe to say that not anyone of them would ever say they would leave if he didnt forfit over a rules violation.. get your facts straight,  that is far from the truth....we take our lumps and stand tall with our heads held high hoping we get the chance to meet again.. because honestly i believe if we played 10 games against them, the win they got the other night, would be thier only one jus sayin PROUD PROSPECTS DAD "CANTBEAT23"
Lol. Get me whatever this guy is on.  Im sure you will get your chance. Don't get me wrong, you guys have a very solid team, but to say the 12u gladiators will go 1-9 against y'all is highly unlikely. Keep adding that fuel to the fire buddy. Next time the "illegal"player that they have  "cheated" with for the last 5 months, will be legal. Oops did I tell you he has been playing the last 5 months with them? I better be quiet before you have Allen make them forfeit all their games from the past 5 months.
