1.
Thanks everyone, for the kind remarks. Of course Mom and Dad are proud. Zach has worked extremely hard to get to the next level. The 4:45 am workouts this summer with Hayden Guidry showed me his dedication and tenacity. We have a zillion people to thank, here are a few in no particular order. Jeff and Richard at Angelina. Jason, Ben and Mike at Commit to Exellence(C2) Baseball. Special thanks to Sam at Zone Baseball Academy, keep pushing him! Big thanks to Dave, Sam and Jeff at Gladiator Baseball. Chad, Elmer and Chris at B.C. High School. Clint and the guys at Mid County Babe Ruth. Chris at GTB baseball.  We can't thank Chip, Matt, JR and Jimmy enough at Texas Sundevil Baseball for all you've done. We appreciate all the work you guys have done over years for the love of the game and all you have done for the players who love the game. Greg and Terry
Awesome Zach! Great kid and family.
 2. Also Brandon Provost- North Central Texas Justin Harmon- Grambling Anthony Babino- Mountain View College Kael Jones- LSU Eunice Ryan Waddell- Baton Rouge Community College Lance Brown- Angelina Junior College
 3. Why is everyone giving this guy a hard time? He is putting kids in front of scouts, not an easy thing to do.
 4.
Eagle,      You have seen him more than me, seems like d1 written all over him, your thoughts? Where does he play summerball?
He has played for the Gladiators the past 2 years. He has signed with North Central junior College. Def has the skills to play D1.
 5.

Oh and I never said Cody does a bad job, I said he made a horrible decision. Don't you be starting rumors now.
Tournaments and non-district games are when you work on your pitching, not a close playoff game with all of your other pitchers still available. Oh well it's over now.  Dogs have to win 2 tomorrow.
Agreed.
 6. Oh and I never said Cody does a bad job, I said he made a horrible decision. Don't you be starting rumors now.
 7. I would be willing to bet that im not the only one who thinks this was dumb. Maybe im the only one who isn't afraid to post it. Anyhow, I am pulling for the dogs, not trying to start stuff as you say.
 8. Why not go for a guy that has thrown a lot of innings throughout the year. As one guy said last week "Pitts has a 0 era".
 9.
Let's lay off Cody. Trev pitched a great inning against LCM. He's been throwing bull pen all year. Sure there are a lot of guys who can pitch but for some reason he wanted to put the ball in Trev's hands. Didn't work out so he pulled him pretty quick. Have a little faith. This games not over yet
Kid bashing is not allowed.
 10.
Why did robbins get kicked out?
Fans kicked him out for putting Sonnier in to pitch, instead of someone who has pitched all year.
 11. Magnolia may win this series, if Duplant, Smith, and Brown can't play.  ;D
 12.
Pitching change to Gabby.
Wow, run him out there on one day rest....don't worry about the kids future.
 13. Good job Nederland. Way to slap adversity in the face, and come out on top.
 14. I said would go 3. Today I think the dogs win by at least 6. Then Duplant will be back, and ready for a long run.
 15. Why didn't Brown start last night? Why not start your best available guy, against their number 2?
 16.

Nhs LineUp. Sonnier SS. Babino C. Pitts RF. Smith 3rd. Schlett 2nd. Brown 1st. K Richard DH for Lasell LF. Fontenot P. Broussard CF.
Why does a coach not go with your best pitcher? Why change what has been sucessful? Think about it, what kind of message does that send to the team. We don't need to put our best on the field to win tonight. The boys don't play up to their capability. Why didn't Duplant start tonight? [/quote Uh oh!!!
 17. This series will probably go 3, if Smith isn't able to pitch.
 18.

And to answer the question, how do our kids act, they are extremely well behaved boys on the baseball field. Very respectful of the game.
IDK about that.  I don't think you want to put a mike in that dug out.  You might find out something you don't like.
I wouldn't single them out. They are high school boys. You can put a mic in 95% of high school dugouts, and probably wont like what you hear.
 19.

Personally, Rounder appears to know nothing about the rest of the Dogs.  There are a few pitchers that either due to an early injury or showing up late because of basketball success that very well may have been starters and definitely would be starters for most other teams.  Brown(RHP) and Pitts(LHP) have an ERA of 0 and both bring it in the high eighties.  Smith has been lights out and Fontenot is the best 3rd baseman I have seen in Nederland over the last 2 years but due to offensive needs has had to split time at 3rd and play outfield.  What Nederland will miss is Dup's bat.  His pitching would be nice because you never can have enough pitching in the playoffs but I believe Pitts, Brown, and Fontenot can step up to the rubber.  This is, however, an example of why the other pitchers should get more innings during district.  Nederland was the best returning team before Dup transfjerred but he has been a very welcomed addition.  Nederland will take this in 2.   What is most important now is that Dup take care of his health and is in our prayers.
I happen to know Brown and Fontenot, and yes they are both good pitchers. Don't forgot about Kole Lassall, he can pitch too.  Don't know the Pitts kid, but I hear he is pretty darn good too.  I know a little more about your players, and team than you may realize. After all, I am the one who started the "RUMOR", that ended up being true. Good luck tomorrow. I hope they win.
Just because you started the "rumor" means you know Dup not the others on the team....Besides the "rumor" shouldn't have been mentioned on here unless the family wanted it here....you left the reason wide open and many could have thought it was grades, discipline etc....You were out of line and if I were Dylan's family I wouldn't share information with you are consider you a friend.
I have known his family for over 20 years, and unlike most of you on here, they don't think it is a big deal. After all, all I said was he may not be playing. As for leaving the reason wide open, it's not right for me to post his personal reasons for not being able to play. As one of your other fans mentioned, maybe you should not "speculate" about things. Now why don't you go back to arguing with your own fans about who is better than who. Your right I don't know anyone but Duplant from that team, nor I have I ever coached about 6 of them.

 21.
Hope he gets better. Prayers out to him. Also I think Tyler is a better pitcher than Dup personally, but he is a close second.
They are both really good. Has Tyler signed anywhere yet?
